Hi, I'm Keira Louis Malik, (pronounced : kee-ra lu-wi ma-lik) and I am 17 years old. I am currently a senior at London High School and I love to draw and sing, but mostly sing. Dad has always told me that he never liked the music industry and always says horrible things about singing competitions, especially the X-Factor.
That is probably one of the reasons why I have never told him I could sing or that I loved it.
I would never tell him that I would love to be a famous singer when I grow up after what he's said about the music industry. And I would never tell him I am auditioning for the X Factor tomorrow. He would probably disown me as a child. Luckily, my mother was all up for it and she is gonna be there to support me.
Dad has no idea that I'm even going to the auditions nor does he have a clue that mom is taking me. Hopefully he won't freak out when he finds out.
I'm mean, what's so bad about auditioning on a live singing competition and hopefully win and become famous?
