I stared at Joe who shifted his gaze away from me.

"You're late Joe." Azriel said

"My apologies boss."

"Fer this is Joe. He's a very important member of the gang so behave yourself when you're around him."

"We already know each other." I replied.

"Really, where did you meet."

"At the club where he works." I said rather spitefully.

It was obvious he knew their plans for me. He could have helped me at least for the fact that I was Cait's friend or maybe he didn't know it was me they wanted.

I could tell that Azriel felt the tension between us.

"So Joe did you find the girl."

"No sir, she never returned to the club. But it seems like you found her. Actually she's here."

I was honestly confused what girl were they talking about.

"Who is she?" Azriel asked.

Joe then turned his gaze to me and Ariel's eyes followed his.

"You must be kidding me Joe."

"It's her boss. She couldn't come back to the club because you haven't given her the chance to."

"I'm what girl." I asked knowing they were talking about me.

Then I realized what they meant. Azriel was at the club that night, he saw me pole dancing and wanted to know who I was. He was the one watching me that night not the stalker. Either way I was right to think that we were in danger.

Then I remembered Joe's words and the text he sent to Cait.

"Fine but trust me when I say you choose the wrong day to come here. If you smell any danger make a run for it." Joe said.

"Leave the club immediately."

When he sent that text he knew Azriel wanted to know who I was and was trying to protect me. He didn't want to allow us into the club because Azriel was there.

I judged him to quickly and I felt really guilty.

"So Fer you're not as innocent as I thought. You even caught my attention that day. I just knew I would see you again."

"Joe take care of her okay. I have a few things to attended to."

He nodded in reply.

"When are we leaving this place."

"Immediately I'm done with my work we can leave."

"Can I please wait in the car with Joe of course. I'm really tired and I don't like being here."

He looked at me warily.

"Fine, but Fer you know trying to escape will be a big mistake right."

"I know."

He went back into his office and as Joe led me into the car I picked up a bottle.

This could be useful.

"Joe, please help me escape." I said, once we were in the car.

"You know I can't do that."

"Yes you can Joe, do it for Cait's sake. Do you think she would ever forgive you if she knew that you had the chance to save me but you didn't."

"No she wouldn't. But by helping you escape I'll not only be betraying my boss but I'll also be putting my life at a risk."

"No you'll be fine as long as we fake my escape."

He chuckles.

"I know you're thinking but they won't buy it. But they will, I have some nasty pepper spray and a bottle. Helping me will be a bit painful but I know you can handle it. I'll be out of the country by morning. So will you help me."

He looked outside, deep in thought. He then nodded, his eyes giving me the go ahead.

Two minutes later I had finished up the remainder of my pepper spray on Joe, given him a concussion, I guess and run away to meet someone I hadn't seen in a while. My dad.

I came out of my club with James and Nathaniel only to find Joe unconscious. The worst part was there was no sign of Fer.

"I'm going to kill her." I muttered under my breath.

James had been able to make Joe regain consciousness.

His eyes looked bloodshot.

"What happened." I asked.

He touched his head and winced in pain.

"She used some pepper spray on me and knocked me out."

I clenched my jaw.

"James, Nathaniel make sure you find her."

If she thought I would let her go so easily she was mistaken. I wasn't planning on letting her go. Not now or ever.
