The drive was quiet after a long while the car finally came to a halt.

"We're here. " Angel said and removed the hood from my face

I came down from the car and blinked a few times taking in the light. It was then I took in the breathtaking sight of the beautiful mansion in front of me.
"Wow.'' I whispered.

Just then Angel finished making a phone call.

"Lets go in. He's waiting. "

I took a deep breath. The thought of escaping crossed my mind but I new it would be impossible.

"What if I don't want to?"

"Please MaFay." He said & at that moment he looked more adorable than Azriel. I hope Azriel never finds out I thought that.

We walked into the mansion until we stopped in front of a room.

"I would have shown you around but we can't keep the boss waiting."

"He's a kingpin right?" I asked & he nodded in reply "

"When did my life become this?"

"You're about to find out." He knocked on the radio door and we entered.

A man was sitting on a chair and backing us.

"You're exactly one minute & fifty seconds late. What punishment do you think you deserve Angel. "

"Any..... " Angel started but I cut him off.

"Excuse me, are you seriously going to punish him for that?"

I got no reply.

"I'm talking to you Mr, stop backing me & reply or are is a kingpin, drug lord like you scared to face a teenager."

"You're as feisty as your mother." He said & turned around to face me.

I took in his features & he seemed almost familiar.

"What do you know about my mother? " I asked. An almost sadistic smile crept on his face.

It was then it dawned on me he was the only one who took my mother.

"What did you do to my mother."

"Sit & I'll tell you." He said.

"Who are you? Where is my mother, tell me!!" I yelled.

"Let's make some things come clear, one no shouting & two I talk & you listen. Now sit."

Angel looked at me with pleading eyes so, I reluctantly sat down and he continued.

"I met your mother years ago. We got to know each other, fell inlove, got married & had two daughters. She found out I already had a son from a previous affair which didn't tell about & she also found out I was involved in some shady business. I promised her I would get out of the business but I didn't. She found out things got rough. I agreed to divorce her if she let me keep my daughter all & she agreed."

"How does this concern me?" I could already imagine where this was leading to, but I hoped it wasn't true.

"She double crossed me & tried to run away with my daughter,my Angeles but I didn't let her. I took Angeles Times from her & left. Since that day she hasn't seen Angeles. Years later I found out your mother had remarried & had a daughter. I did a few calculations & such & I found out that the child wasn't her husbands but mine. That child is you."

"Are you the one who's been stalking me & sending me gifts?" I said in a cracked voice.

"Yes I am."

"Where's my mother."

"She's safe with me. I won't hurt her."

"You mean you kidnapped her."

"Yes I did."

"Wow this is a lot to take in & Angel is he my brother and Angeles?"

"Yes he is. As for Angeles she's no more."

Angel told Azriel where to pick me up. So we sat down in his car eating doughnuts & ice-cream.

"Must you go back to Knight." Angel said

"I work for him so yeah."

"You could work for us or go to school?"

I scoffed.

"I've been home schooled ever since that drug lord dad of yours started stalking me."

"He's your dad too."

"I have a dad & he's the attorney general."

"Denying him changes nothing." I sighed in reply. "

"Hey tell me about Angeles. You know, I once saw pictures of a girl who looked like me, I showed my mom but she nervously shrugged it off."

"You do look like her. She was so beautiful, kind.... She made some mistakes & she lost her life due to that."

"I see. Do you enjoy hurting people, you know... "

"In our business its kill or be killed. So I have no choice but to do what I have to do."

"You do have a choice. You can leave the business you know."

He simply sighed.

"I'll tell you a secret. I had a step sister she hated me so much & one day we fought, thanks to me & that hate. I made her drown. I judged Azriel for killing people but I did the same thing when I was a child."

He looked at me almost shocked.

"Only my family & best friends know this & well now you."

"You were just a child & it was an accident."

"Accident or not I still did it."

Just then Azriel showed up. We both got down from the car. As Azriel approached us I asked.

"What exactly happened to Angeles? "

"That's a story for another day Mafay."

Immediately Azriel got to me he hugged me.

"Make sure nothing bad happens to her Knight. Oh & MaFay let's hang out some other day okay. I'll reach out to you."

I turned to meet Angel & hugged him. He was surprised by my action but hugged me back.

"Take care Princessa."

"Bye Angel."

With that I left with Azriel with one main question in my mind. What happened to Angeles?
