Maria Fernanda.
After I left Azriel's house, Angel took me to his and I had been staying there for quite sometime. I couldn't deny that I missed Azriel and the guys but living with my brother has been awesome so far. We had gotten much closer which was the best part of it all.
I sat down in the dining area of the kitchen waiting for Angel to finish cooking up another disaster, literally.
"Angel..." I cooed as he was making the coffee.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" I asked.
He turned around and glared at me. Then what I was saying suddenly hit him.
The smell of burnt toast filled the room as Angel rushed to save what was left.
"This never gets old. Should I order pizza or what would you prefer?" I said with a cheeky grin on my face.
"You know this is all your fault right. You were supposed to take care of the toast while I made the coffee. But little princessa Ma fay was too worried that she'd brake a nail." He said still glaring at me.
"You're the one who forbade me from cooking in your kitchen." I said giving him the 'duhh' expression.
"That's so you don't burn down my house." He deadpanned.
"Says the absent minded one. Speaking of that your coffee." I said.
Angel ran his hand through his hair angrily as he went to check the coffee and looked at it distastefully.
"So we're ordering pizza right?" He asked.
"Yes we are.'' I replied with a grin.
Few minutes later the pizza arrived and I gave the delivery guy a nice tip.
"Thanks miss, anything else you'd like?" The handsome delivery guy asked with a smile.
"I don't know what do you have to offer?" I purred.
Suddenly noticing what was going on Angel appeared going all psycho big brother.
"Get out of here before I shoot you." He deadpanned as he was now standing in front of me.
In a flash the guy was gone and Angel stood there glaring at me.
"Awwwn my brother loves me so much." I cooed.
"A pizza delivery guy, really?" He said
I rolled my eyes and pulled Angel who didn't bother resisting into a hug.
"He's a person you know and he had nice eyes." I said as we broke the hug.
"Hugging you is kind of uncomfortable considering i'm like a foot taller than you." He said and now it was my turn to glare at him.
"Lets just have breakfast." He said and I obliged.
Just as we were having breakfast Angel received a rather quick call.
"I have to go do some work." He said.
"Don't leave me alone!" I said with a pout.
He sighed in reply.
"Ma Fay please don't do that. I can't take you with me. I'll try to come back ASAP. Stay safe, remember the rules." He said as he placed a kiss on my forehead and left.
Great, now it's just me, myself and I. I thought.
After doing nothing for sometime, I decided the best option was to do some house chores, not that I was good at it. Minutes turned into hours, day into night.
Tired of waiting, I went upstairs to my room and soon I was fast asleep.
I was woken up by the sound of something breaking.
Since when did Angel become so clumsy.... But then again what if it isn't Angel? I thought.
I had no idea where any of the guns were. So I decided to make do with a baseball bat. As I heard footsteps getting closer. I debated whether to hide under my bed and just wait for the intruder to leave or rather just attack him. Choosing the later I grabbed the baseball bat and in the process knocked something over.
You klutz! I screamed to myself in my mind. I hid behind the door and waited to ambush the intruder. I would have called Angel but I had left my phone downstairs.
Soon enough the door opened. I swung out my bat only to realise no one was there. Suddenly the lights went off.
I creased my brows in confusion. I had to know what in the world was going on.
My thoughts were interrupted as I was jerked backwards and held in an iron like grip.
My eyes darted to my neck as I felt a cold blade being pressed to it. One wrong move and it could be all over. So I just stood there like a statue... Frozen.
.............................................................
I wonder who the intruder is?Hey Guys I know its been a while. I don't want to give any excuses so I apologize for the delay.
