Gem for Success
"There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountain top of our desires."

After deciding that the best thing for us to do was to get out of my house as soon as possible. I called a meeting with all the staff in the house."I'm having a few renovations done in the house so I want all of you to go to your respective homes right now."
They all looked surprised by what I said because the whole house was in perfect condition.
"Listen I know that this is all very sudden but this is an order. I will inform you of the venue of my birthday later but just know it won't be here. Just do as I have said no questions asked." And with that I went to my room.
"Fer we don't know what to take with us." Misty said
"Your luggage bags are already packed so tell one of the bodyguards to take them to my family's penthouse and tell him to stay there."
She nodded and went to do as I had told her.
I went to my moms room and opened the safe where she kept her gun. I inhaled deeply and took it and some bullets out. I went to my room and took a gun with those dart's that could put someone to sleep. I also took a hoodie and some credit cards.
By the time I was done with this all the staff had already left the house.
"Fer why did you ask us all to dress in hoodies and face cap's." Misty asked.
"In case we are still here when they arrive they won't be able to see your faces. They most definitely know who I am but they probably don't know who you girls are. With that being said we should leave now."
I looked around to see if all the pictures had been. If they were going to find out about my family and friends it would not be through me.
As we were about leaving we saw a black car driving in. At that moment I knew it was them and wondered if they knew all the security had already left. Probably not.
"Fer what are we going to do." Cait asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Come on let's go upstairs right now."
We began running up the stairs. I opened a secret passage in my room and we went through it.
"Fer you never told us about this place." Natty said
"My mom forbade me from doing so, sorry."
It led us out to where the cars were parked. I looked the tires of the two cars and they were deflated. Great.
"Fer what are we going to do."
"Come with me I said."
I took them to where one of our old cars was parked. I was just about to enter the car and start it when one of the gang members showed up.
"Well look who's trying to run away he said."
I swiftly took my gun loafed with sleeping darts and before he could react I shot him five time's.
My friends immediately entered the car and Natty tried starting it after two failed attempts it started and as we drove off two other guys showed up and started shooting at the car we were able to escape but I knew they were already hot on our trail.
I took out my phone and dialed a friends number. He picked up almost immediately
"Hello, Nate..... I need your help meet me at the parking space of the shopping close to your office with your car. Thanks.
It took us some minutes to get there and by the time we got there I spotted Nates car. We immediately entered his car.
"Thanks Nate." I said.
"No problem but can you please tell me what's wrong."
''I'll explain later. Open your car trunk I need to get in there once I get in make sure its well closed and drive away to my family's penthouse immediately."
He looked at me skeptically but did as I asked. Once I was in he drove away.
I was pretty sure I saw them arrive about a second before I got into the car trunk but for now we were safe.
