Personality: Sleepy and lazy. Can get irritated quite easily but is probably the one of most caring in the group.

Relationships with characters:

- Kiyoko: Yamato and Kiyoko are in the same class along with Satomi. He usually complains about Kiyoko being too loud. They are usually seen fighting but Yamato always comes up with a smart remark.

- Satomi: Yamato is friends with Satomi and they usually talk together on the way to class. She is usually the one who has to stop the arguments between him and Kioyko

- Ayame: Yamato's relationship with Ayame is similar to his relationship with Kiyoko. He finds both of them to be loud and too hyper. But they are friends.

- Chiyo: Yamato surprisingly usually runs into Chiyo, or more likely her to run into him..literally. Even though Chio's and Kiyoko's personalities are pretty much the same, Yamato seems to be a bit more caring towards Chiyo

- Yuka: Yamato is one of the youngest of the group and Yuka one of the oldest. But their relationship is very strong. Yamato seems to talk more with Yuka than most people. They're close friends.

- Naoharu: Yamato is quite known for his smart remarks and Naoharu seems to find them hilarious. Even though Yamato can be quite annoyed by Naoharu's loud voice and constant energy he's is close friends with him.

- Takashi: Yamato looks up to Takashi like an older brother. They're usually together; Yamato sleeping and Takashi studying. They're both calm and get along well.

- Matsuo: Yamato knows Matsuo but the two don't seem to like each other much. But they work well together when is comes to things like payback and their relationship develops.

- Ryuu: Yamato knows Ryuu and talks to him quite often. They're good friends and he seems to be the only one to realise his feeling for Yuka but keeps it a secret.
