It's been 3 weeks. I have been locked up with Valentine for 3 weeks. It's hard to think about him knowing I will probably never see or touch him again. It's hard.

The chains on my ankles and wrists are cold and hurt so bad. My throat burned from screaming. All I could think about was Alec. Was he going to save me?

My heart hurts. We have been searching for her for weeks. They're saying there are no traces of where she is, but I don't believe them. There has to be something. I have been searching everywhere for my love, but there is no progress. But, I will find you, Y/n.

Right now, I am trying to escape. I pull out the bobbie pin I had been hiding for a day. I put it into the lock and twist the pin. It popped the chain and my cuffs came off. I did an internal happy dance and did the rest. I jumped up in my cell and made it to the window in the cell. I climbed through the window and stepped on the ground. Valentine wasn't here today so I could make it past the guards.

I sat on my bed and cried. 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS! I haven't seen or touched or heard Y/n! Why did all bad things happen to me? People have come and tried to get me out of my sweet suburban tomb (All Time Low tehe) I haven't paid any attention to any of them.

I walked, no I ran back to the Institute. I was still in the clothes I have had on for almost a month. Once I was at the doors to the Institute, I pushed them open and was greeted by many shocked faces. I'm back. Free.

Alec's Pov
I laid there sobbing, but snapped out by a frantic knock at my door. I ignored it, but then heard a shout.
"SHE'S BACK, ALEC!!! SHE'S BACK!!!! Y/N'S BACK!!!!" It was defentily Jace, but is he drunk or something? I stumbled out of my bed, thinking I should do something. My heart hurt at the sound of her name. I opened the door and was immediately pulled to the Institute doors. There, I saw
Y/n, shyly standing by the wide open doors. Jace was right. She was back.
