Jace's Pov
I went to the club to get drunk. My ex girlfriend just cheated on me. I thought she was the one. I was going to get drunk and forget about her.

I sat at the bar and looked over to my left to see a girl with her mascara running down her face like she had been crying. She had her hands holding her head as she took another shot of vodka.

"What happened to you?" I ask.

She looked up at me and she had the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.

"Boyfriend cheated." She said.

Her voice was angelic yet shattered.

"Same here." I said.

"Girlfriend cheat?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"No need to be sad though. They were assholes." I said.

I saw another tear fall down her face and I wiped it away.

She laughed too. I offered a hand out to her and she took it.

"My name's Y/n." She said.

She laughed.

"What? Was I too cheesy?" I laughed.

She nodded still laughing.

"Oh! My name is Jace." I said.

"Nice to meet you, Jace." She smiled.

"Amazing to meet you too, Y/n. Hey! You stopped crying." I said.

"I guess I did." She laughed.

"Well, I thought she was the one. Then, she cheated on me. To make it even worse, she cheated with my best friend (Not my sweet sweet Alec). I can tell you that it is so easy to fall for her games." I said frowning.

We both smile and start to lean in. Both of our lips meet. They move and sync and I can't help to think that maybe my ex cheating could be the best thing to ever happen to me.
