She was a daisy in a field of rosesBut sadly she didn't know at all
That even though she was only a daisy
That didn't stop her from growing tall
She hid away among the thorns
And wished she could see the sunshine
For the sun wasn't there only for the rosesYet she wouldn't let her true self shine
The roses though considered beautiful
Hid a sinister plot
They attacked the daisy
And corrupted her with their thoughts
But be careful with this story
Because it has a twist
For if you read between the lines
They may be a concept you have missed
The daisy is a girl that has low self esteem
The roses are the
Demons that keep tearing her downThe sunshine is the happiness which beckons her to come
And the thorns are her scars that hide away her crown
For the daisy doesn't now that she's crowned with a crown of gold
That she's perfect in every way and everyone supposesAlthough she may seem forgotten
That a daisy shines the brightest in a bed of roses
