I think I have been put on mute for no-one dares to listen

Can't look into my broken eyes or see the tears that glisten

I think I have been put on mute for no-one seems to care.

I scream I yell I talk I cry but they ignore my despair

I think I have been put on mute but I can hear my voice

And no Im not depressed and suicidal by choice

I think I have been put on mute even though I cry to be heard

I wish I could find the button but it must have disappeared
