Chapter 3- Detention

"Nice of you to join us girls," Mrs. Birch said when we entered her classroom.

I've never had detention before so, I don't know what to do, but I take a seat anyways with Erika seated right next to me.

I look around looking to see who got detention too and I am not shocked to see Anthony here at all. He probably gets a detention three times a week and that is on his good days.

I turned around to my in my seat to find Chad Tepper sitting three rows behind me. Chad Tepper was the guy to accept any dare. He was crazy and I have never seen him back away from one. He is friends with Jake, Anthony, and Chance though, but he has never picked on me which is weird especially with the friends he hangs out with. But I'm not complaining.

I turned around when I hear the door slam open. In came Jake and his girlfriend Alissa Violet walking in all high and mighty.

"May, I ask why you are late, Mr. Paul?" Mrs. Birch asked.

"I just didn't care," he replied nonchalant.

It looked like Mrs. Birch was about to reply to him, but I think she has had him in detention with her for so long that she doesn't even bother with him anymore.

"And Ms. Violet. I do not recall having detention with you," Ms. Birch said.

"You don't. I just wanted to be here with Jake," She said calmly.

Meet Alissa Violet. School slut, hoe, whore, thot whatever you want to call it. She has slept with every guy on the football and basketball team. Just don't tell her that to her face. She'll probably order Jake to come mess up yours. Yeah she'll order him. Anyways have you ever heard of this jingle?

If you haven't heard that song you just learned it now. That song was created for her. I am quite surprised Jake hasn't broke up with her. Does he not know the kind of bullshit she does behind his back? Even if he did he probably won't break up with her anyways. It's like he worships her. He won't believe you if you say you caught her making out with some guy. He'll have to see it for himself.

"Whatever, just take a seat," Mrs. Birch said.

I bent my head down trying to make him not see me but of course he does.

"What is the goody-goody doing here, huh?" he taunts me.

"Can't you just leave me alone? Why do you have to come here and annoy me every time you get the chance?" I asked.

"What fun would it be if I didn't make fun of you. There will be no one to pick on," he said.

Right before I replied Erika jumps into the conversation.

"Why can't you just leave her alone Jake?" Erika asked annoyed.

"Because what fun would that be now. It would be a boring detention if I didn't. Your here so that gives me more of a reason to," he answered.

So for the rest of detention he tormented and annoyed the fuck out of Erika and I, but I did what I did best which was to ignore it. The funny thing was that he was actually spending more time annoying me than paying attention to his own girlfriend. Does Jake have a crush on me? Nope that's impossible. 

Right before detention was over Mrs. Birch said one of the worst things to come out of her mouth.

"I hope you didn't think that this detention would be all of your punishment," she announced.

See I told you she was a bitch. Always a catch with her.

"You have an assignment. You'll be telling me what the best things about your partner is in front of the class and efficiently enough you all are in the same class period,"

That didn't seem hard enough me and Erika could partner up and since we do everything and know everything about each other, this would be a a piece of cake. 

"I however will be assigning your partners," she said out of the blue.

I spoke to soon. I don't know how many times I will say this, but she's a bitch. Jesus.

"Now your partners will be:  I will be making up some characters names

Dylan and Bella

Ethan and Mackenzie

Chad and Erika

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I hear her whisper beside me.

Josh and Cait

Conner and Juliana

And... (Drum roll please *insert drum roll*)

Jake and Tessa (I bet none of you are surprised but anyways)

Jake beat me to my astonishment

"What! You've got to be fucking kidding me. I don't want to be partnered up with this bitch! Partner me up with a sponge. I could find nice things to find about a sponge better than I can do  with her," he said with disgust.

Well that was harsh.

"Mr. Paul I do not like that attitude. I won't be changing my mind at all. My decision is final,"

"God dammit," I heard him sigh.

"What about me," I heard Alissa say.

"What about you? You are not in my class," Mrs. birch said bored.

"Well I know Jakey the most. If I was his partner instead of her, we could ace this assignment," she complained.

"There is a reason why i made this assignment. And you are not in my class so you are just wasting my time," she said diverting her attention from her.

Her timer went off

"Detention is over I hope by tomorrow you and your partners are working on this project!" she yells while we leave the classroom.

This is going to be a long week. 

*Authors note: Another chapter!! 950 words. I am proud. Yay!! If you want me to upload twice tomorrow I need 10 comments! Anywhore I am not trying to make Alissa to sound like a bitch. I personally like her as a person, I just ship Jessa. No hate anyways...
