Detention wasn't so bad this time. Alissa was really nice to me and we actually had a good conversation. I still don't know why she had apologized to me now but I will take it. As long as she is no longer being mean to me I can see us being friends in the future. We exchanged numbers at the end promising each other to talk more.

"Huh. Who knew Alissa had enough guts to actually apologize to you. I'm surprised you didn't punch her in the face," Frannie commented while munching of her Cheetos.

Frannie had already been in my room waiting for me (thanks to my mom letting her in) and had surprised me by shouting in my face when I got home. I forgot to tell her I had got detention and claimed that she got a heart attack.

I looked at her pointedly before chuckling a bit. "Alissa actually wasn't so and. She was quite nice now that I think about it. Detention was definitely better this time around,"

"Still don't believe it but if you say so. And don't get used to having detention, or some may call you a delinquent," she faked gasp covering her mouth with her hand.

I looked at her for a few seconds before we bursted our laughing together. Moments like these are my favorite. Being able to take my mind off the sad things of the day and just chill with my friend. Maybe best friend now.

"So did either of the wenches call you yet?" Frannie asked after our laughing fest concluded.

"Yep. I've gotten two calls from Jake and five from Erika, plus a couple of text messages," I sighed picking up my phone to double check.

"That's it? It seems as if they are not even really sorry!" Frannie exclaimed. "I would have at least expected a million and roses sent to your house," she finished.

She was right though. It was like that they didn't really care about the predicament we are in. Neither of them tried to even approach me once. And the few times I did see them in the hallways, they both looked like they were totally content with what had happened earlier.

"I guess you can't expect much from cheaters right," I faked laughed feeling the tears welling up in my eyes.

"Screw them boo. You are so much better without them anyways. You've got friends that actually care about you and that's the kind of friends you need. Not that snake bitch Erika and your two timing dumbass raggedy man whore dick who can't keep it in his pants—"

"Okay! Okay, I get it. Thank you," I stopped her knowing that she would continue with her long trail of insults.

"All I'm saying is. You got me and other people who care about you. Forget about them," she smiled at me.

"Thanks Frannie. I needed that," I said leaning in for a hug.

"Plus we need to go through your phone and delete anything and everything that reminds you of those two dummies. Like first blocking their numbers," she said holding her hand out.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Give me your phone dumbass. I have a feeling you'd be crying over every photo you have of either of them," she looked straight at me.

Sighing knowing that she is not wrong I handed her my phone.

After what seemed like hours but was really a couple of minutes, Frannie was done and handed me back my phone with a satisfied smirk.

"Now let's go downstairs so you can feed me," she said pushing me off the bed.

"Ow that hurt. And since when did I become your slave in my own house," I glared at her half-heartedly.

"Since now. Now get up. Chop chop. My chips and dip are waiting," she laughed.

DING DONG ( imagine you regular suburban house doorbell)

"Is that your mom?" Frannie asked her laughter pausing.

"It can't be. My mom would have used the garage door. Or her key to get in," I replied getting up from the floor.

I headed downstairs to the door and peeped through the door hole and guess who I saw?

Yep

Erika (who guessed 😂)

"Are you going to answer it?" Frannie who appeared out of nowhere asked. I swear she wasn't following me downstairs.

"I don't know! I don't even want to talk to her now. Reason why I ignored her calls!" I whispered screamed at her.

"Tessa please open up I can hear you. I need to talk to you," she said urgently.

"Well I don't want to," I said looking at her through my peephole.

"Please," her voice croaked. "Just let me in for a minute," she answered her voice deep with desperation.

Letting down my guard, I slowly opened the door to a teary eyed Erika.

"Please, can we talk?" She asked.

And that's another chapter folks! I know it's pretty short but don't worry, much will be happening in the next chapter of the story. Since no one commented on my last chapter 😢 I will most likely end the story the way I want to. So if anyone reads this don't be surprised. Anyways please vote and tell me what you think!
