HAYLEY POV:
We split to go to our lockers like every other morning, Zane and Amber go to theirs, Tyler and I go to ours and Lucas goes to his. Today was different to normal, I had a feeling that something was going to go wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it. We finished getting our books for today and then headed to Amber's and Zane's lockers, and like yesterday, Amber was singing and Zane was sat on the floor with Amber's hat on. "Amy you might as well give that hat to Zane seeing as though he's always wearing it now," I pointed out as I went to sit next to him. Tyler was stood smirking, obviously about to do something to annoy Amber as he took a step towards her to snake his arms around her waist. From the perspective of people walking past, it would look like Tyler's hugging her but from mine and Zane's perspective, he was trying to pick her up then gently kick her legs out of the way to lay her down in the middle of the corridor. "What a good time to approach, it doesn't look sketchy at all" Lucas joked as he leant against the lockers across the corridor from where I was sat. "Tyler! This is a new skirt!" She screeched as she stood back up, and dusted any dirt off of her.The school bell rung, indicating we have ten minutes before having to be in form so we separated once again to go to the corridors with our form rooms on. Tyler and Zane just decided to leave instead of telling us they were going, which left me spamming them both with texts.
To: Ty!!
Me: where did you go?
Me: hey loser, answer me
Me: answer pls
Me: where'd you go loser
Me: I hate you
Me: hope y'all know that
Me: rudeTo: ZANEE
Me: where'd you go?
Me: hello?
Me: Zane
Me: I won't look after Sasha when you're not there
Me: Zane
Z: we went to form, calm down Hay.
Me: you could've told us before you left </3
Z: we literally left the others this morning, I'm sure you're fine.
Me: nope, I miss you
Z: <3
Me: ew no :)
Z: :("..-what do you think Hay?" Amber asked, turning her head towards me as I looked up at her and Lucas, "sorry, I wasn't paying attention, what did you say?" I truthfully asked, flicking my eyes between the two of them to see Amber slightly smirking, "does pineapple go on pizza? Yes or no?" Dammit. "Well, you eat anything on pizza so in that case yes, but I wouldn't have it unless it was a Hawaiian pizza meaning there was ham on it as well." Lucas threw his arms in the air, with a 'I told you so' look on his face, he then wrapped his arms around Amber to apologise to her. I checked the time to see we had two minutes before we were meant to start form, "I'm going in, I'll see you in art," I said as I gently pushed her with my hip and walked off to see her giving me a dirty look. As I walked into form, I went to sit in my usual spot and pulled out my art book to make sure all my work was completed and to a high standard before turning to the back of the book and do a quick sketch; which ended up being a full page of hands in different poses. "You're really good at drawing," I looked at where that voice came from and it was Aria. I closed my book quickly so she couldn't ruin any of my work and held it tight to my chest. "Oh not even a 'thanks' or anything. How rude. I give you a compliment and you don't even accept it. Let me look at your work" she demanded the last part, taking a step towards me. I handed her my book growing anxious as I knew she was going to do something, and she did. She slowly ripped out pages, one by one, "Aria! Stop now!" I heard Lucas shout as he entered the classroom.
"Why should I?" She asked as she started walking closer to Lucas, "if you want me to stop, make me," she said with a devilish grin, waiting for him to do something. Each page slowly reaching its way to the floor. "How am I meant to stop you?" Lucas questioned, growing angry at the fact she hasn't stopped; Aria smirked and, from what I could see, she was hinting at a kiss. She leant closer to his face and whispered something onto his lips before wrapping her arms around his neck. Lucas removed her arms from his neck and pulled her outside of the classroom, luckily she dropped my book to the floor. I rushed to pick up my book and all my art work that laid on the floor scattered around the room, but I only managed to pick up half before I noticed the rest weren't any where to be seen.
"Hayley," a voice said from next to me, "I'm Daniel, I'm in your English class" he said as he gave me the rest of my artwork. "Thank you Daniel," I said as I hugged him. "I heard you're performing in front of assembly tomorrow, is that right?" He inquired after we pulled away, I nodded with a smile, "I feel like I'm going to mess up though," I stated honestly. "Trust me, you'll be perfect. When you were singing in the music room, I was jaw-dropped. I didn't think you were so talented," he said with his hands on both my shoulders. I winced slightly as I could feel his hand right next to the cut on my arm, which caught his attention. "Oh my god, how didn't I notice this? What's happened?" I chuckled gently and took a deep breathe, "well you see, I kinda fell over while walking with Ty and my dog and I fell into glass. I also cut my eyebrow but Tyler said I could wear his bandana to cover it and not get bombarded with questions." He gave a nervous laugh as he scratched the back of his neck as I said the end part.
He avoided eye contact with me and nervously asked, "Would you like to go out some time?"
