HAYLEY POV:
We were left in the music room just talking. I saw Luna had stood up and walked over to Amber. "C-Can I pet her?" She asked with shyness in her voice as she looked at Lucas with wide eyes who nodded with a genuine smile. I text Tyler even though he was across the room from me.To: Ty!!
Me: I ship them
Ty: Same #lumber
Me: I'm a bad influence on you. And it'd be #amas
Ty: I know!! You've ruined me!!"Why are you two texting? You're across the room," Lucas spoke with a slight laugh. I looked at him and as I was about to say something before Tyler didn't let me speak, "she asked me if I trust you to let you hang around with us, I said yeah obviously like you're a cool dude," his voice raising with happiness but he was scratching the back of his neck making it obvious he was lying. Lucas looked at me to see if he was lying giving me the "is this true?" look and I nodded to approve. "Guys we have science next, right?" I asked looking around the room to see everyone nodding just to make sure I wasn't going to the wrong lesson. The bell rang to say there was five minutes of break left so we should head to lesson; we all stood up putting the chairs back to their original places before we left. Amber walked to Lucas with Luna in her arms to give her back, "We're in the same science and we sit around the same table don't we?" Lucas asked Amber who nodded with a small confused look on her face, "Well you can keep Luna with you if you want. We never do practicals on Wednesdays so she's allowed in the classroom," Lucas continued with a smile on his face as he let Amber carry Luna to lesson.
Science was pretty boring, it was our biology lesson so we were going over old topics that we were going to be on a test in a few months. "Hayley, what is the purpose of a plants leaves and stem?" Miss Taylor asked. She was leaning against the table towards the back right corner of the room. I wasn't paying attention, I was too busy watching Lucas and Amber pet Luna and wonder what they'd be like if they were dating. "Oh, uhm.. The leaves absorb the sunlight, divert water towards the roots as well as controlling the water amount inside of the plant," I started, while Miss watched me in shock but not making it obvious, thinking I wouldn't know. "And the stem is for transport of the nutrients through the plant," I rejoiced with confidence looking her straight in the eyes even though that was a mistake. "How do the leaves control the water?" She said with a smirk prying at her lips. "There are small gaps on the leaf but there are more on the bottom and they open if there's too much water but close if there isn't enough," everyone in class was watching me with surprise as they didn't expect anyone to actually know this much about a plant. She looked at me trying to think of another question, "what are those gaps called?" That's the one thing I didn't know, I was going to have to let her win this little game. "Stomata? And one disadvantage of them is that they could let out too much water which also allows oxygen to leave." After that, Miss didn't reply. She walked back to the front of the class to get something from her desk. Walking to my desk, she placed a Rubik's cube in front of me and spoke "students who do well in class and in tests get rewarded. Some rewards might not be what you expect like this for example, but that only show life isn't how you expect it to go."

Me: So I just got given a Rubik's cube..
Me: Anyone want it?
Z: No thanks I hate them
Ty: It'll be sat in my room for the next 20 years so I'm going to pass
Me: Amy, you want it?
Amy: no thank you
Me: Ask Lucas if he wants it
Amy: He said only if you don't want it.
Me: AlrightMiss had given us all a few sheets of paper to put all of our notes on to help us study for our science test; she also allowed us to move and sit with who we want so I went to the back of the room to sit with Amber and Lucas, instead of sitting alone at in the middle of the room, and gave him an unsolved Rubik's cube. We had ten minutes left before the end of the lesson and both Amber and I thought the cube would take him all through break to solve but it only took him a minute. "How did you do it so fast? Like I'd be stuck with it for a year just haunting me!" Amber exclaimed over-exaggerating. Both Lucas and I were sat giggling at her with Luna walking across the table. "My dad used to buy me one every year for my birthday until I could complete one in a month, they were annoying me so I kept trying to do them over and over again. I haven't had one in over ten years actually so yeah," Lucas rejoiced with a hint of happiness in his voice.
The final bell rang indicating that it was the end of school so Amber went to meet Zane at her locker and I went to mine to meet Tyler. "Uhm Hayley, can I talk to you please?" Lucas asked sheepishly. I nodded and followed him after closing my locker. We walked to his locker and he started swapping his books ready for tomorrow, "I'm really sorry about bullying you its just, Aria angers me and then she makes me bully you four but if I don't then she tells my dad I do stuff to her and then he beats me.. I hate her with a passion but she lives with me and my dad so I can't break up with her otherwise I'd come to school with a black eye, a broken arm and a broken rib," he explained. I couldn't think of what to say so I just hugged him. We were hugging for about five minutes before I pulled away and looked at him straight in the eyes, "it's alright, you can come to my house after school and you can sleep in the spare bedroom," I suggested. "A-are you sure? I don't want to bother your housemates.." He said sheepishly, I shook my head and stated "it's no problem I'm sure they won't mind!" We took our stuff back to meet with Tyler, Zane and Amber who were stood outside of Zane's locker just laughing and joking. "Guys Lucas is coming back to our place tonight,"
