HAYLEY POV:
"Would you like to go out some time?"
"As a date type of thing?" Regret instantly flowing through my body. "It doesn't have to be if you don't want it to be,"

"Okay!" What did I sign myself up to? I don't know anything about him other than his names Daniel. Well I mean, I could learn more about him when we're out. Luckily, the bell rang meaning it was end of form now, at least I have art first thing. I walked down the corridor to meet Amber as we are in the same lesson, and we entered the room together. "I need to stick everything back into my book," is the first thing I said to Amber after walking up to her. She gave a confused look as she didn't know what had just happened. As I was explaining, I told her about Daniel as well, seeing as though she's my best friend and I'd end up telling her anyway. "Woah, what about your blueberry?" She asked, referring to Zane, "I thought you liked him, but I guess not," she said with a faint laugh. "Well I do like him, I wasn't thinking straight and I was in a panic due to what Aria had just done," I explained with a tone of distraught.

As we entered the classroom, we went and sat at the back of the room where we normally sat, "I think you should meet him as a friend and see what happens, and if it doesn't turn out how you want it to then tell him you're not interested," Amber suggested. I nodded in response to her and started to stick all of my artwork back into my book. Once I had all of my work back to how it was, I started to design ideas for my final piece. A double-page spread was full of small parts of what I could potentially use along with annotations on why and how I could use it. I was about to ask Amber how I could include these for my final piece but before I did, my phone vibrated, indicating I had received a text. I was guessing it was from the group chat as Amber checked her phone as well.

Ty: A little birdie told me that someone's been asked out on a date, would someone like to explain?

I looked at Amber who was smirking and rapidly smashing her fingers against the screen of her phone.

Amy: Our little Hay is growing up so fast, it feels like only yesterday when she asked us all to move in together and now, she's going on a date with Daniel in our English class. Hopefully she won't start to ditch us for him.
Z: Oh, congrats Hay

I looked at Amber after noticing how Zane's mood changed after being all happy this morning. "Amy, why did you do that? Why did you have to tell them two about Daniel?" She looked at me jaw-dropped then quickly looked back at her phone and started typing again.

AMBER POV:

I needed to make sure Zane was okay with all of this, I knew he had a crush on her to start with because I've had to give him advice on how to ask Hayley to be his girlfriend.

To ZANEE:
Me: serious question right now,
Me: do you have a crush on Hayley?
Me: I promise I won't tell anyone,
Me: I'm making sure she can't see my phone right now, if that makes you feel more confident about answering.
Z: well yeah,
Z: why do you think that?
Me: well the fact that Hayley always runs to you when she's been crying, when she needs support, you're always there for her when she needs it.
Z: I'm a good person so of course I'm there for her, but why did you only mention what she does?
Me: I didn't?
Z: yeah you did Amy, explain it now.
Me: uhm, I can't, she will literally kill me if I told you.
Z: Amber, now.
Me: well, she kind of likes you...
Z: oh.. Okay then...
Me: please don't make it awkward or anything, she would literally kill me.
Z: so basically do what I was already doing?
Me: yep.
Z: okay then.
Me: also, you've asked me for advice before so I'm just checking.

They're going to kill me. I looked up from my phone to see Hayley staring at me as though she was about to kill me. "Amy, you're not very good at hiding your phone," she sighed. I gave her a puzzled look as her eyes looked like they were filling with tears but, she held her eyes shut in attempt to stop the tears. "Hay, why are you crying? Come with me," I demanded calmly as I held her hand and gently pulled her to the corridor. "Talk to me," I requested as I wrapped my arms around her in a hug, "I'm always here for you Hayley and you know that". She took a deep breathe to calm herself down and lifted her head from my shoulder, "it's just, you told Zane I liked him more than a friend after I trusted you not to tell anyone,"  as I was about to speak she cute me off, "I feel like this has ruined two friendships, mine and his, and ours." My heart was broken, "Hayley did you see what he put before that? He told me he has a crush on you, look at the messages," I stated as I pulled away from the hug and pulled got my phone from the waistband of the skirt I was currently wearing. I opened the messages and gave her my phone to read through what he said, "I'm sorry for what I just said, I guess I was over reacting" she stated with a faint chuckle. I looked at her with a sympathetic look, "I would never tell anyone a secret and you know that, if I didn't check to see if our blueberry liked you then I wouldn't have told him." Hayley sighed as she wiped the tears that were falling down her cheeks, "but the way he acts around all those girls who have a crush on him, it looks and sounds like he's flirting with them. He even winks at them and then I'm just stood there getting sad and jealous."
