Carters pov

I am still in shock when I wake up the next morning. Constantine is my neighbor? Of course this would be my luck. It wasn't that I have a problem with him personally, esides that he is a cokcly little shit, but I have known guys like him. They will use you and after they are done, they'll leave you without a second thought. They are all like that. And if by some chance he is a good guy it's just as bad because I can't be with him. It would be too dangerous for the both of us.

With a slight groan I walk downstairs. My dad mets me at the bottom of the stairs with a cup of coffee. I Smile in gratitude as we walk into the kitchen only to be pushed out of the way by a screaming Dean.

"Dean buddy what's the matter?" laughs my dad.

"There is a monster in the house next to us.! Its too pink!" He screams.

Laughing I follow him to his bedroom. With his lower lip trembled he points out his window which ironically faces Constantine's house. Looking out his window I see a young girl with brown curly hair, bouncing around her room.

I turn to Dean "where is the monster buddy?"

"There!" He says pointing once again toward the young girl of probally 10 years old like him.

Understanding washes over me as I realise that the supposed monster must be Constantine's little sister. Laughing I ruffle his hair " Dean, that's not a monster, it's just a girl."

"Bu-but it's so small and everything is so pink."

"Buddy, you are small too, besides she looks awesome in pink."
Pressing a kiss to his head I go downstairs and grab my bag.

Pulling into the school parking lot I park Bentley and climb out. I am suddenly enveloped in warm arms. Pulling back I look up into Masons warm brown eyes.

Mason stares in amusement at my miffed expression. "Hey Sparky"

"Mason" I acknowledge with a shake of my head. We walk shoulder to shoulder into the school, only for Mason to drag me over to Constantine, Blake, Travis and Dallon.

"Mason my man are you in for my place today after school?" asks Travis.

I watch as Constantine rolls his eyes before meeting my gaze. Giving him a smirk I turn my attention back to Travis as he shifts topics and tells Blake in frightening detail on how he managed to fit into his sisters tube top.

Constantine suddenly interrupts him. "Travis are you going to invite Carter to hang out with us, or are you going to continue making us all want to go jump off the nearest cliff."

Turning to me Travis replies in confusion "I thought it was obvious she was coming?"

Grinning I watch all the guys chuckle. Blake nudges my shoulder "so are you in?"

"Depends... what are we doing?" I ask.

"We were going to- " the rest of Dallon's explanation became muffled as Travis covers his mouth.

"Shhhhh it's a surprise!" Squeals Travis as he clamped a hand over Dallons's mouth. When Blake went to say something Travis did the same to him shooting them both glares.
