Ethan's pov
I'm in the bathroom of the hospital just getting done with my business. I wash my hands and look at myself in the mirror. I walk out as the halls are completely empty. Where is everyone? As I walk through the halls. I forget where Isabel's room is at. I remember the number of her room but not where it's at. 45 I tell myself following the numbers. I get to 44 and there's the end of the hallway. Where is it?!
"Excuse me sir what are you doing out of the hospital room roaming around? Tell me your hospital room and I'll take you there," she said.
"45," I said following her up the stairs to a hallway crossing a hallway. And there it is #45. I thank the nurse and walk in. Isabel jumps. Scared that I opened the door without her expecting anyone.
"Dammit Ethan! What are you doing here," she asks putting her hand on her heart.
"What do you mean? I just went to the bathroom. Where's Kat and Grayson," I asked sitting down in the chair next to her hospital bed.
"Visiting has closed Ethan. You shouldn't even be here," he said sounding annoyed.
"Look I know what I said earlier probably made you mad, but you act like I wanna be here. Hospitals are creepy. I would rather be gone, sleeping in a bed," I said looking at her hospital bed.
"No. You are not sleeping next to me on the bed," she refused.
"Come on please," I begged.
"No Ethan," she said.
Me and Isabel were having a movie night with Kat and Grayson as well. It got late and I was really tired and didn't want to walk home.
"Isabel," I said as she was making me a nice bed on the floor.
"What," she asked looking at me while continuing.
"You have a nice soft comfortable bed," I said.
"No. you are not sleeping next to me on the bed," she refused.
"Come on please," I begged.
"No Ethan," she said.
"Fine I guess I'll have to sleep on the hard floor. Probably wake up with a back ache and a kink in my neck," I said about to lay on the floor. She laid in the bed not saying a word. I laid down on the floor and counted. 1....2....3
"Okay fine come up here before I change my mind," she said.
When I came back to reality from my flashback I sat down in the chair.
"Fine guess ill have to sleep in the hard chair. Wake up with my neck hurting. Probably even back problems," I said turning and making it look like I was trying to sleep. 1.....2......3
"Fine get up here before I change my mind," she said scooting over in the bed. Works every time! I laid down and looked at the ceiling.
"Can I ask you something," I asked. She nodded." What were you gonna say before Grayson walked in."
"I was gonna tell you I love Grayson," she said looking at me.
"So if I did this..." I started to say leaning in and when our lips were about to touch she looked away.
"I can't... I... you had your chance. I love Grayson. You were my first love Ethan. Now it's different, I'm really happy and right now I need you as a friend. Not a guy trying to be my prince charming. I need you to be my best friend," she said looking at me. She hugged me and turned over." I'll always love you, but now its time for you to move on."
I wrote this chapter really late at night and I read over it in the morning. I was shook asf. Anyways.. I hope you guys liked it. Vote comment all that jazz I'll post another chapter tomorrow love ya❤✌
