Kat's pov
While Isabel and Grayson are doing their thing. Me and Ethan took my parents to see my aunt. There's no way they will go home with how much she talks. We sit while my mom and her catches up. My dad looks bored. I knew at some point he would ask to go home. I look over at Ethan.
"He's getting bored. What do we do," I whispered. Ethan looked at my dad and thought for a second.
"We have to distract him," he whispered back." Hey uhh.. Mr Sanchez do you wanna throw a football outside maybe?" My dad looked at him.
"With what ball," my dad asked. Ethan looked stumped.
"Hey aunt kaylee? Do you have a football or baseball around," I asked. She laughed.
"I don't have any boys hun. There's no point for one," she continued to talk to my mom. I look at Ethan and we had to think of something else.
"What are we gonna do," I whispered panicking. Ethan paused and then turned to me. He kissed me right in front of my parents. My dad looked over and looked angry. He got up and grabbed Ethan.
"What are you doing," he asked pulling him up by the shirt.
"Dad stop," I yelled putting my hand on his fist. He looked at me and slowly let go of Ethan's shirt. My mom looked over and gave my dad a dirty look.
"What are you doing," she asked.
"Ethan kissed her! I was just..."
"So that gives you a reason to grab him like that. Sit back down in your chair and watch the football game or something," she said turning to me."what are you doing kissing him?"
"What do you mean," I asked looking over at Ethan.
"We are dating," Ethan said intertwining our fingers. My dad almost choked on the soda he was drinking.
"WHAT," he yelled."no no no. I will not stand for this!"
"Can you stop. Go to Dunkin Donuts and get me a coffee please," my mom said throwing him the keys and motioning him off with her hand. He walks outside and aggressively pushes the door open."what are you doing dating him?"
"Umm... I'm here you know," Ethan said getting awkward." I'm gonna go stand outside." He got up and walked out.
"Do you know how your sister would feel about this," my mom asked.
"Honestly mom I don't see why it's a big deal. She likes Grayson now," I said rolling my eyes.
"Honey she will always love Ethan deep down. That's how it'll always be. Yeah she's with Grayson but Ethan is still special to her. You can't date him without her getting mad," she said putting her hand on mine."I think you need to end things with Ethan."
"No way!"
My dad and Ethan come back in and my dad hands my mom her coffee. She looks at me and looks back at her sister. Ethan sits next to me and puts his arm around my shoulders.
"Put that god damn arm back to your side," my dad said not even looking up from the TV. Me and Ethan look back to each other and smile. Then my mom was ready to go. But I haven't gotten an okay from Isabel.
"Well you shouldn't leave just yet," I said standing up putting my hands behind my back." Aunt Kaylee I believe you have forgotten to tell my mother about my dear cousin Bethany. Don't forget about her recent engagement to that rotten boy James." I smiled and aunt Kaylee gave me a glare.
"Kaylee.... she's barely eighteen. Why is she getting married so quick," my mother sat back down keeping us there for several more hours.
