Isabel's pov.
Grayson ignored my text. Maybe he's busy? It's been a couple of days since he first did it and he keeps doing it. Ethan said he's on his phone a lot so there's no way he didn't see my message. I was on the phone with Ethan cause he wanted me to help him with a video.
Ethan: well I have a plan.
Me: do you think he's talking to another girl?
Ethan: no izzie don't go off topic! I have a plan to prank him. I just need you to help me record it.
Me: alright I can do that. Maybe Kat wants to help to?
"Kat," I yelled pulling the phone away from my ear.
"What," she asked walking into the room dressed up.
"Do you wanna help me and Ethan prank Grayson," i asked.
"No.. I've got plans tonight," she said sounding annoyed she left and I put the phone back up to my ear.
Me: she said she has plans.
Ethan: she's been distant to.
Me: what's with everyone.
Ethan: I don't know I'm freezing the fake phone tonight. Tomorrow when we are about to edit I'll text you to come over okay.
The next morning I wake up and I don't get a good morning text from Grayson. It made me wonder what's making him act different. I decided to spend some time with my mom now that she's home. We were watching the fosters when we heard a knock on the door. I ran down to answer it and Maddie stood outside the door. I've been mad at her since she didn't come to see me in the hospital. She smiles at me.
"Oh my izzie it's so good to see you," she said. I looked at her with a blank expression. I kept eye contact with her.
"Mom. It's for you," I said turning and closing the door slightly but not all the way. I run up the stairs and my Mom answers it. They talk for a few minutes when my mom eventually let's her in.
She's sitting on the chair while me and my mom are sitting on the couch. They are talking while I'm just sitting there. I want her to leave so I can continue my show. I wanna know what happens to callie and Brandon when the restraining order is placed against him.
"So Isabel are you gonna tell Maddie what you've been up to," my mom asks looking at me smiling. I look at Maddie who is smiling also.
"Why would I want to say anything to her? I mean I was in the hospital with CANCER and she didn't make the slightest effort to come see me," I said emphasizing the word cancer. I get a text from Ethan telling me to come over."well I've gotta get going. Mom can I borrow your car?" My mom hands me the keys and I leave slamming the door behind me. When I get to Ethan and Grayson's Ethan tells me to go say hi to him to make it look casual.
I walk in to their office and see Grayson sitting at the computer.
"Hey baby I came over to say hi. Sorry I didn't text you," I said thinking about saying 'even though you wouldn't answer anyways'. He smiles and hugs me.
"I'm glad you stopped by I've been meaning to text you. Just got a little distracted," he said." But I've gotta edit. Ethan can hangout with you until I'm done though." I walked out and Ethan said he was going in to get his phone. Grayson was not happy about it.
Ethan handed me Grayson's phone and I kept it in my pocket so he wouldn't see it. When Grayson asked for his phone back Ethan gave him the frozen fake phone. Grayson freaked out as I recorded it. He broke the fake phone then asked for his real phone. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw Emily come up. Who's Emily? I handed Ethan Grayson's phone.
"You need to spend more time with your twin brother instead of being on the phone," Ethan said.
"Yeah me to," I said laughing. Grayson hugged Ethan and then hugged me.
"Alright I'll spend more time with you guys," he said laughing. Ethan and gray Finished the video as I sat down and waited. Grayson comes up to me and hugs me." You guys got me good."
"Who's Emily," I asked." I just saw her name on your phone screen and I wondered."
"She went to school with us in Jersey," Grayson said."we've talked a little."
"Emily Wilkerson," I asked looking at Ethan. He knew who she was and why I don't like her.
"Yeah..," he said." I know you don't like her cause she liked Ethan when you liked him..." I started laughing.
"That's not why I hate her. When we were in school in Jersey. She liked you, But she thought you liked me so she was always a bitch to me," I said looking to Ethan who nodded.
"No. She asked me if Ethan was single," he said pulling his phone out and showing me the messages. I seen some flirty texts from her.
" oh my god. Grayson. She's flirting with you. She doesn't like Ethan I told you that," I said pointing to some of the texts.
"When I told her that we were dating she said she was happy for us," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"She's lying. That's why you've been ignoring me all the time. Cause you were texting her," I asked. He paused.
"I only purposely ignored you once," I picked up my moms keys and gave Grayson a dirty look.
"Wow only once cause that makes a difference. You still ignored me Grayson. And now finding out that you knew about it," I said walking out and getting in the car. I started it and Grayson walked out. I backed out and drove away.
