Ethan's pov
"Grayson," I yelled going after him. He stopped and turned around."where are you going dude?" He put his face in his hands and sighed.
"What am I gonna do e," he asked." If Isabel's pregnant. I can't just leave her and it's gonna be hard telling mom. At seventeen she's gonna be so mad. Isabel's dad is gonna kill me. What if Isabel.." I cut him off.
"Stop worrying yourself. Do you love her," I asked and he still had his face in his hands."hey! Do. You. Love her?"
"Yes Ethan. More then anything in the world," he said lifting his face from his hands.
"Then you gotta be with her and stand by her side no matter what. Leaving her is gonna show her parents that your a jerk. How would Isabel feel if you left when she needed you the most," I asked. He looked down and started to walk away. I walked with him until we got to our car. He got in as did I. We drove to the store and he walked to the baby section. Still not saying a word he buys a Binky and we get back into the car.
"What are you doing," I asked.
"I'm gonna show my girlfriend that I'm gonna be here for her," he said getting out and walking into the warehouse. I smiled and walked in after him.
I wanted to see Isabel's reaction but Grayson said he wanted to do it alone. I sat on the couch finishing the movie we were watching and I got a call from Kat.
Me: Hello?
Kat: hey best friend..
Me: your acting a little weird what's up?
Kat: can I share a secret with you.
I started to think about the last time she shared a secret with me. I hate keeping secrets but she is my best friend.
Me: I guess so.
Kat: that pregnancy test wasn't Isabel's.... it was mine.
Me: wait what?!
Kat: I just didn't know what to say in front of Nate and both of you. I got scared E.
Me: Grayson just went over there with a Binky to show that he's gonna be there for her.
Kat: awe that's so cute! Wait what?!
Me: they are gonna know it's not hers when she tells him she's not pregnant.
Kat: what am I gonna do Ethan?! I'm not ready to tell anyone.
Me: how long has it been?
Kat: about a month.
Me: how can you keep a secret that long?! Damn!
Kat: Ethan get to the point.
Me: there isn't a point. You've got to tell Nate and I'll go with if it makes you feel better.
Kat: can you please.
Me: yes I'm on my way.
I arrive at Kat's house and she gets in the car. We drive to Nate's house and Kat knocks. Nate opens the door and smiles happy to see us.
"Hey guys," he says kissing Kat and giving her a hug.
"Nate I need to talk to you," Kat said looking over at me and I smiled. Mouthing for her to go on. Nate let us in and Kat told him about her being pregnant.
"Wow. That's a lot to take in," he said taking a deep breath." However you decide to handle this. I'm here always." He hugged her and she smiled.
