Ethan's pov
I drove down the road looking for Grayson cause he walked off somewhere. I saw him sitting at the bench at the park. I got out and sat down next to him.
"What happened at the hospital," he asked looking over at me with tears forming in his eyes.
"I still loved her G. I told her that. She said she loved you now and the chances of us getting together are never gonna happen. Then I leaned in and she moved her head," I said looking down in regret.
"Why would you do that," he asked." It seems like all you wanted to do was destroy my relationship."
"That's what I wanted," I said still looking down."I regret it so much. I just want you to be happy gray. If that's with Izzie then do it. You guys are soul mates. No matter what happens you guys always end up together."
"What about you E. If you still love her I don't wanna make you uncomfortable by dating her," he said.
"I'll always love her, but I want you guys to get together. I wouldn't be able to make her as happy as you do," I said smiling. He smiled and he looked down at his phone. Mine beeped to.
Group chat:
Isabel: everyone to the doctors office now I'll send an address.
Nate: why?
Grayson: me and E are on our way.
Isabel: don't ask questions just come.
We drove to the doctors and when we got there Isabel was waiting in the front for us. Nate with her. She looked completely sad. We walked up and she looked at Grayson and back to the ground awkwardly.
"I have bad news," she said taking a deep breath." I would have Kat tell you but she can't. She's not in a good state right now. She had a miscarriage." She started to tear up and turned around. I saw her wiping tears but they kept falling. Nate ran inside and Grayson walked up to Izzie. He gave her a hug and she dug her head into his chest crying. I decided to leave them be and check on my best friend. When I walk in Kat's crying on Nate.
"Best friend," I said slowly getting closer. She lifts up her head and tries to smile. She gets up and runs over to me giving me a big hug." Hey it's okay." I smoothed get hair down. Her parents finally came comforting her as she cries. Me and Nate were standing to the side. I guess Isabel and Grayson have been talking cause they aren't here. We sat there for a while until Kat finally decided to go home. We still haven't seen Grayson and Isabel but then we see them sitting down on a bench by where we parked the car.
"Hey we were waiting for you guys to be done," Isabel said.
"No to be rude but what happened to your guys faces," Grayson asked. Isabel and Kat looked at each other and laughed.
"A little disagreement," Isabel said. We all went to Nate's house and sat down on the couch watching TV like the old days.
