I open my eyes and wipe my tears of confusion sitting up. My eyes wander over to Amelia and Caldron, only to see my mate staring straight at me.

"So did it work?" I say acting dumbfounded. Amelia turns to me and smiles widely.

"Yes dearie. I saw the page. But it will take time. So don't worry your pretty little head." She says with her hands clasped.

"It's about time you two go home." She says, and before I can utter a word in protest, she snaps her fingers and we a transported to our bedroom.

I shake my head and am suddenly embraced by a very large person, I can identify as Caldron.

I reluctantly hug back, still feeling a little shocked at my recent discoveries.

"I was worried about you. I was afraid you where gonna be gone and I would never be able to say the things I want to say someday." He says turning from me and sitting on the bed.

As I watch him put his head in his hands and rub his face, when his piercing gaze finally rests on me.

I start to think of the anguish Cordelia had at the loss of her father, and the loss of her lover.

It felt as if those memories of Amelias tragic life, where almost like my own. The loss of a parent without witness. The loss of my mom at my fingertips....

The hope of having a normal life and quality family, torn from you by a witch, and rules forbidding them from being normal. A future, ripped from her....

I lost my dad. I new he was in a car crash, but I didn't witness the tragedy.

My mom died in my arms.

When I thought i could be normal with a mate, that hope of a family, and that hope of a normal life was torn from me......By a witch, and the hierarchy rules. Not to mention the betrayal that plagued my mind.

If only Caldron could relinquish his title without repercussions. He was only in the middle of what would be a normal Alpha rein, so waiting it out, and waiting until he was at least fourty years old to be with him, wasn't an option.

Things where complicated.

And my stubborn behaviour, wasn't helping in the slightest.

With a long sigh, I relinquish the thoughts from my mind, and walk slowly until I am in front of Caldron and just stare.

His eyes where a deep blue, with navy blue rims. And a deep sea blue around the pupils, but after staring in his eyes for a few seconds, his pupils dilate, until it looked like his irises where consumed by a rich black color, that I could read his soul in.

Beings I was so short, and he was so tall, him sitting down was the equivalent of me standing up. He just sits there and stares at my face. Almost drinking in my appearance.

I hold my hand out and hesitantly slick my fingers into his hair and he closes his eyes with a deep satisfied sigh.

My fingers tingles and his hair was as soft as i expected it to be.

Gaining some confidence, I put my hands on his shoulders, and straddle his lap, as he wraps his arms around me, slowly....Cautiously. Like this was some cruel trick.

My hands, like a whisper, travel up his neck and to his cheeks.

I pull his face down and give his forehead a lingering kiss and then pull back, relishing in the feeling of just.....Kissing him....Something I never thought I would want to do.

He opens his eyes and I look into them with a furrowed brow.

I softly take my hands, and skim his eyes closed. I wanted him to feel it.
