I wake up to hear the horse neighing in the barn. I jump out of bed and pull on my cowgirl boots. I don't even care that my hair is a disaster and I still have my pjs on. I run outside almost tripping over a large rock. It's quite early it's around 6:00. Yes I'm a early bird. Mom and dad are still asleep. I always have a hair elastic on my wrist so I take it of and pull my red hair into a ponytail. I'm 11and im starting grade 7 and school starts really soon. But the thing is that I'm starting a new school and we are moving tomorrow to the city. I run over to the barn to see how my horse honeydew is doing. She looks good but i still feed her some hay and fill her water up. I walk over to honeydew and stroke her long mane. Then I go check on the chickens. They look good so I just go back to our small old yellow home. When we move tomorrow we have to sell our chickens and have to sell my horse. Mom and dad are egg farmers but mom and dad wanted to move to the city to get better jobs. When I get inside the house I go to my room and read a horse book for a while. Then before I know it bacon's cookin on the pan and mom and dad are up. Ready for another day of sweat, hard work, and fun. Even if in 4 days summer is over and then tomorrow we move. I hope I can make friends.
