After my little scene with Luke, I leave the park with barley, feeling relaxed, confused, and happy, all at once. I didn't know I could feel like that . I call Elaine and Anna right away to tell them. I spend the rest of the day with mom. We shop and spend time together. Life is slow, but fast, if that's possible and along my journey this year in the city, I have gone through a lot. Even though Alice bullied me through half of the year, I managed. I made friends and encountered a crush. I got my first kiss and I survived the year. All these things have changed my life but I'm happy. When summer comes I am happy to leave school. I have a great summer and then start grade 8. Ready for a new year of my life that will change me forever.
