The New Girl

Chapter 17

At school when I get to my locker Alice walks past me but then turns her face to me and looks darkly at me. She then continues walking. Oh boy this is bad. Elaine and Anna walk up to me then Elaine says "So what happened?" "I'll tell ya at lunch." I say. Elaine nods then pulls Anna on the arm. They walk away but I know why because they both have the same morning class. I have homeroom 1st then math. I have to hurry.

At lunch I told Elaine about what happened with Alice and Anna then I really have to go pee. On my way I see Luke and wave. "Be right back!" I say to him, then he nods and continues eating. When I get into the bathroom I go in the stall. I got a A in my math test. I do my business, pull up my skirt and wash my hands. Right then Alice and her gang walk in. Her minions are Ashley and Amanda along with Caroline who is not as bad as the rest. They all have matching ponytails. The typical popular mean girls. "Hey FarmGirl. Nice cowboots" Ashley says and Amanda high fives her, then I ignore them and try to leave but Alice is blocking the way. "Move." Amanda says them goes to the sink to apply makeup. Nobody comes into the washroom. Caroline watches everything. I stand there while Ashley and Amanda apply makeup and Alice and Caroline stare at me. Alice makes the first move. "So, thanks for getting me grounded jerk." Alice says. Elaine and Anna are probably wondering why I'm taking so long. And Luke too. "Yeah well you where bugging me. " I say then push past Alice to get out of the washroom. "Not so fast. It's payback." She says. Caroline turns and Ashley and Amanda do as well. Oh no. I know what's coming. But before I can do anything, Alice swings a punch at my eye. Caroline jumps out and yells "Stop!!!" At Alice. Ashley and Amanda laugh. Then my world gets blurry. Caroline asks if I'm okay but before I can answer my world goes black.
