I decide to name my dog Barley and its a boy. Barley is so adorable that after I get him I go for a jog with him. He's so energetic! Later I come back home and do my homework. For dinner we eat steak and mashed potatoes. For dessert we have ice cream. The weather is getting colder everyday. And Alice stopped bugging me. Although she still gives me evil glares, she never bugged me again. Luke and I become even better friends, and so do me and Elaine and Anna. Life is good, and the city turns out not to be so bad.
**3 months later**
It's the weekend and a chilly February, and I'm meeting Luke at the park again. This time I bring barley. Luke looks happier, and even though his parents are not together anymore, he got over the pain. "Hey Stacy!" Luke calls. He's on the swings, "Hey!" I say I go sit beside him on the swings. "So how's life?" I ask, and he answers quickly.."Oh! I started playing soccer every weekend and I get to visit my dad every tuesday." "That's great!" I say. Luke smiles and thinks for a while. He says something a little surprisingly,"Um, I, uh, kinda, uh like-You, like in a uh like like way.." I'm shocked! But I answer quickly. "I uh like you too." I say. He smiles-a small smile. He kisses me. A quick soft kiss. And I am shocked again. Wow.
