"It sure is cool for a summer day." Eddie said as the two of you walked through the park. The two of you were heading down to Every Mart to buy some snacks with the money Eddie's mom gave the two of you. Summer break was great, especially when you get to spend some alone time with your crush.

You had liked Eddie for a while, almost ever sense you met him two months ago when you moved to Springsdale. "Is it me, or has Nate been acting weird recently?" Eddie asked. "I don't know, why are you asking me?" You said.

"Well, you two seem close..." Eddie's voice trailed off. Oh no! He probably thought you liked Nate! "You have to remember that you've know him longer than I have." Eddie looked embarrassed, "Ah, you're right."

You two made it to Every Mart. "Alright, pick out what you want." Eddie said. In the end, you both got ice cream bars. You two walked out to a park bench and sat down. "So," You started, "What do you think of the super natural?" You smiled, you were always interest in those kinds of things.

"I think it's nothing. Just a silly belief." Eddie got a serious stare. "Oh..." You frowned. If Eddie didn't share your interests, how was he even going to like you like you liked him? "You okay?" Eddie looked at you with concern. "Yeah... It's just I do believe in the super natural." Eddie realized his mistake.

"O-Oh! It's not that I have a problem with it! It's totally cool that you like that stuff..." Eddie stuttered. You nodded, feeling a bit sad. "That's probably why you like Nate..." You heard Eddie whisper. "Wh-What?" You blushed. Did he just suggest that you liked Nate?

"Nate is into the super natural like you are. That's why you like him." Eddie seemed sad. "No! That's not true! I like you, Eddie." You covered your mouth. That last part was not supposed to slip out. "You really like me?" Eddie smiled. You looked away with a blush and nodded.

"I really like you too." Eddie smiled nervously. "You do?" You felt your heart beating out of your chest. Eddie leaned over and kissed your cheek. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked as he put an arm around your shoulder.

"Sure." You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder. This Summer is having a great start.
