Chapter 2: Who Run the World

"Shine bright like a Diamond!" I sang out as Jess and I got out of a Taxi, Jess paying the cab as I looked up into the sky, the buildings towered above us, it was a beauty, a different kind of beauty of course with all the shiny lights, they made me wanna sing Rihanna.

"Mari shut up! We still have to get up the building without anyone looking at us funny" she told me, dragging me to the apartments where Jace lived.

"Oh, why you gotta be so rudeeee, don't ju know I AM A HUMAN TOOO!!" I kept singing loudly to annoy her.

"Shut it Mari! They're gonna kick us out before we even step in if you keep singing like that!" she tried to shush me but I persisted.

"AND I-EEE-IIIII WILL ALWAYS LOVE JUUUUU AHHH I WILL ALWAYS LOVE JUUUU" I sang reaching the high note effortlessly as I booped her nose with my finger "BOOP" I said afterwards giggling to myself.

"Oh why did I let you drink two bottles of Smirnoff girl! Now you're all drunk and won't enjoy the party as much" she sighed as she led me to the elevators.

We reached the top floor where Jace's party was at, as I was about to knock at the door, this guy opened it and I accidentally hit him in the head with my fist that I was gonna use to knock.

"Omigod! Im so sorry!" I yelled as he rubbed his head, his beautiful emerald eyes piercing down at me, man he was in a mood.

"Move outta my way" he said as he pushed me to the side, Jess gaping at him from behind me.

"Oh NO! No one pushes my girl I tell ya!" as she yanked him by the shirt back ready to fight him, he looked surprised but then composed himself and threw her an ugly look. Damn if looks can kill I'll be dead man. That guy was furious yet sexy I tell ya, like a chile! Spicy boi!

"Spicy Boi!" I yelled at him accidentally while poking his cheek, he started to growl as he turned around to look at me.

"You're like the Hulk" I told him not realizing what I was doing as I ran and hugged him. WTF was I doing hugging a stranger?

"Don't touch me" he growled at me like a lion

"Rawr" Omigod I actually said it didn't I?! Omigod that boy gonna kill me now fo sho!

"Get off me! Move out of my way Woman!" He yelled at me while trying to pry my hands out of the hug. Then the door opened again.

"Jess baby!" Jace said excitedly, opening the door wider for Jess to go in. "I've missed you doll, haven't seen ya in a while" he said as he gave Jess a kiss, forgetting me and the stranger I was hugging for a sec.

"Hey sugar" he looked over at me after Jess's kiss. "Long time no see, where ya been Mari" he smiled at me.

"Oh you know hugging strangers that's all" I said casually as I kept my hold on the guy who was still trying to get rid of me.

"Oh nice" He nodded at me knowing full well I was drunk af. "Hey there's someone I would like you to meet"

"Really?!!" I said excitingly letting go of the guy as he almost fell down with all the pressure he was doing to get me off him.

"Finally!" Emerald eyes said as he went back inside the party.

"Yeah, It's someone who I heard you really like" he said as I came closer to him wondering who, Jess smirking at me from ear to ear.

"Can I tell her?" Jess asked Jace, he shrugged. "Girl I got you a hookup with none other than Danny!!" she beamed at me, and I swear I almost fainted. Omigod I was finally gonna have a conversation with my crush my amor Omigod!!

"OH SHIT NO WAY JESS NO WAY!! But how did you manage to pull that off?! He doesn't even know I exist!! For him I'm just a shadow..." I mumbled the last words.

"Girl believe me when I say I got you!" was her reply as she winked at me. "C'mon let's go in" she says as we went inside Jace's party, music blaring out of his apartment.

A/N:
So as you can see above that girl is Mari, picked her cuz she's an amazing actress in Telenovelas. But you can imagine her however you want.
