Chapter 5: It's So Easy

A week had passed after that whole party scene, Jess and I were stuck as glue to one another, inseparable to say the least. I haven't seen Jace or Harry since then, probably because college. I walked out of my apartment with my headphones on ready to take a light jog around the city this morning. I walked down the stairs and set up my playlist, today I feel a bit rockish, let's see...oh yes!! Guns N Roses it is!

"They're out ta get me
They won't catch me
I'm fucking innocent
They won't break me"

Out Ta Get me started blearing out of my headphones and I was pumped to get my morning workout. Let's do this!

I passed by some stores and people talking in the middle of the sidewalk, I waved hi to them as I continued my mission, acting like if I was one of the bad guys in a movie who was being chased after.

"Fuck yeah Axl!!" I screamed out loud making people around me to jump up and stare at me weirdly. I was stuck at an intersection waiting for the light with the little guy walking to turn on so I can cross the street.

"Ah shit!" I said as I felt a drop fall in my face.

"Who did it?" I asked everyone around me, "Who spat on me?!" everyone looked at me funny and ignored me, fine then be like that... I thought to myself as I turned around only to get another drop on my head.

"Stop spitting on me guys!! It's unhygienic and gross!!" I yelled at them one more time.

"Miss" this guy tapped on my shoulder as I turned around to look at him, "It's raining" he pointed up at the sky as I saw a dark cloud looming over us.

"OMIGOD!!" I yelled as I grabbed the guy's shoulder, "I must find shelter!!" I looked around to see a Barnes & Noble across the street PERFECT!! I let go of the scared guy as the light finally turned on and I ran towards Barnes & Noble with my gray hoodie on, cuz hey I didn't wanna catch a cold or anything.

"Finally!! Safe at last!" I said excitedly as people shushed me to keep quiet inside the bookstore. I sighed as I made my way to the Starbucks section, ahh yes a hot chocolate or a coffee sounds good right now, I got in line and placed my order, then I stood awkwardly on the side.

I started lightly singing to myself, Nightrain was now playing in my headphones, when suddenly I heard a psss around me, I turned to look but saw no one in particular. I started humming this time when I heard it again, I turned around again to see someone hiding behind a magazine that was upside down, I smiled at that and lightly laughed at it. I was going to go over to the unknown person but then they called up my name, I went over to get my hot chocolate.

When I went over to look for a place to sit and enjoy my hot chocolate, I heard the psss again. I finally made my way over to the unknown guy and sat across from him.

"Alright what do you want? You know you can't read a magazine that's upside down right?" I said as I snatched the magazine away only to reveal Harry and a cheeky grin on his face.

"Hello Beautiful" He said as he winked at me.

"Ok WTF?! How da- Why da-" I tried to form a sentence but I was just surprised he was here.

"What are you doing here?" I whispered at him, "You aren't stalking me right?" I asked nervously at him.

He laughed at me, "Oh no I wouldn't do that, even though I'm capable of hacking and other stuff.." he trailed off, "but no I respect people's privacy, unless it's a case" he said seriously at me, "then I would have to step in and do my job" he nodded at me with a small smile on his face.
