Chapter 2:Sarcasm and Sundaes

I walked into the Sugar Shack and grabbed my pink and white striped apron, it smelled like cotton candy I sighed feeling blissful. I remember going to the carnival as a kid, back when June and I actually got along, we use to ride the wheels, I remember when June had her birthday party at the local carnival a couple years ago and I dared her to go on the Torpedo, she threw up all over the ride operator. I laughed way too hard and ended up grounded by my mom. She appears to be kind but is really strict when it comes to doing immoral things. The shop door rung and I turned with a big smile on my face, it soon turned into a frown, Issac Winters stood there his eyes wide too.

"Go buy ice cream somewhere else." I huffed

"Maybe your mom didn't tell you but you have to train me."

I just felt as if I had my dog run over multiple times, "There's plenty of other places you can work at." I moaned

"Maybe I want to spend time with you Angel."

"It's April." I rolled my eyes

"Angel is a nickname, I know your name." Issac leaned across the counter, he was way too close to her for her liking

"If you know it call me by it."

"How about we start training?," He smiled flashing his pearly whites "Angel." I wanted to smash his face in.

Issac wasn't doing so bad, he caught on really fast. I smiled I was grateful for the extra set of hands, NOT for Issac.

"I'll teach you how to scoop." I smiled

"Why so cheerful angel?"He smirked, I frowned, I really hated that nickname

"Whatever you made me realize I'm stuck having the same shift as you."

Issac sighed "Teach me."

I shoved the ice cream scooper at him, "Do it yourself asshole."

"Does your mother know you speak like that."

"I usually don't but I'm around you."

Issac went to scooping, boy did he suck at it, it wasn't that hard to get a ball of ice cream "Wow a five year old could do better than you."

"I am a five year old mentally." He smirked

"I wouldn't have guessed." I rolled my eyes, I rolled my eyes a lot around Issac, I hoped I wouldn't roll them too far and they wouldn't roll back.

"Really?Let me prove it to you."

"I don't need-" I began, but was cut off by Issac shoving a ball of ice cream on my head, the chocolate ice cream dripped down my head, I wouldn't be mad if it were any other flavour but I hated chocolate ice cream. Issac was in hysterics

"It looks-" Issac continued laughing "Like, someone took a shit on your head." he held his stomach enjoying this way too much.

"ENOUGH!,"I yelled in my really deep angry voice that I only pulled out sometimes, like once when June had taken my paintbrushes and used them for eye shadow. Issac stopped laughing "You think you can walk in here all top shit, and you treat me like garbage, need I remind you my mom owns this place meaning you will no longer have this job, because of pulling this stunt! You went too far, and I'm sick of it." He let out a giggle and I winded up my arm and punched him in the face. Hell any of the football players would be clapping at that punch.

I ripped off my apron, and stormed off into the backroom, only one day in and he had already made my life hell, the door opened and Issac smiled "Tell your mom, guess what at the end of the day I can sue you." I stared at him blankly, I had let my frustration with him take over, I never lost my cool this bad, and I couldn't believe I actually punched him, I mean hell our arguments were my way of beating him up. "Sue me?" I choked out.
