Chapter Ten: Hell Hath Reigned it's Fury Upon Us.

"Lia, are you sure you know for one hundred percent on where you're taking us and that you know fully on how to get there?" Jack asked quietly while we were just starting to walk towards our destination, "I just want to make sure we don't get lost at all."

Lia turned around and gave him a dead stare, "Yes, like I said, I know what I'm doing and where I am going, don't question my abilities." She turned back around and started walking again.

I just stood there in awe, as this was the first time I've seen her snap like that, to absolutely anyone. I suddenly felt a wave of sadness overcome me, which immediately got replaced with anger for some reason.

"Hello guys, nice to see you again." Said a female voice that was directly behind me. I slowly turned around to see a face that I wasn't expecting to see at all. It was Addy, but not the Addy that I've been friends with for years, she had pitch black eyes.

"Addy, w-why are you like this?" I asked her, with a simple response of being thrown down to Jack's feet. I sat up slowly.

"ADDY, that was uncalled for!" Lia screamed at her 'sister'.

"Does it look like I care, if anything, this is entertaining. I wish I could've done this more often." Addy smiled sickly, with soft flames of black dancing from her fingertips, "You guys are so weak when I'm this powerful, thanks to Him." She aimed the black flame towards me, and I quickly deflected it with a shield of water and fire mixed together.

I sat up quickly, regaining my posture, "Did, you just call me, weak?" I got right up into her face with my eyes going completely red, as I was furious.

"Aw, is someone mad for me calling her weak, well, hate to break it to you. News flash, you're a weakling Kenna." She laughed, and I looked over to Lia, and she looked furious with Addy.

"Addy, I am warning you, stop making fun of her. I will not hold back the urge to fight my own sister." She stood right behind me.

"Oh, look, my own sister is protecting the small weakling, this is humorous." She smiled sickly again.

I lost it, and formed my fire staff yet again, and pointed it directly to her, "I will shoot this at you, trust me." I lifted myself into the air.

"Try me. I'll bet you'll fail to kill me, knowing you're ever so weak." Addy flew up to my level.

I didn't hold anything back, and I felt like I wasn't in control of my own body anymore, almost like some extraterrestrial being was in control. I shot a huge fireball towards her, with water coming out of the middle right towards her at a fast speed. She deflected it.

"What, no, not possible." I scream. Jack flies past me, and I see that his eyes are fully black, even blacker than Addy's.

"Oh, now the puny half-blood is defending her. If anything, you should be defending your own kind, Jack." Addy sent me flying back to the ground, with me hitting my head on the ground, hard.

"Are you my friend, no. So I'm not defending your ass any day, bitch." Jack pulled out his knife, and sent a huge cloud of smoke to her. Lia did the same, with ice particles in with the cloud, "Try and find me, you'll know you'll have lots of fun." Jack laughed. I could tell he was fully in his demon half.

I tried sitting up. When I got halfway, I screamed in pain. My head hurt so bad, but I ignored the pain and flew back up to Lia, "Is Jack, well is he okay?" I asked her, with my eyes starting to turn slightly blue.

"Jack is trying to fight her, I'm trying to read his thoughts right now, but he's not letting me in." Lia looked back at me, with her pearl white piercing white eyes, and looked concerned, "Um, Kenna? Why are your eyes blue and why are your hands forming blue smoke? Do you have another power that we don't know about?" She asked me in a concerned tone of voice.

"Don't worry about it. I have water powers as well." I told her.

My hands started forming another staff, but this time it was very intricately designed. It was an ombre ranging from an aqua green to a dark purple, with the top having black swirls coming off of it. Where my hands were holding it, it had blue sparks surrounding my hand, which formed a blue glove around it. Once it was fully formed, I flew over to where Jack was.

I stared right into Addy's black eyes, and she looked right back at me, with a cocky smile. "Damn, I still didn't kill the weakling! Well, I guess you must be a little more powerful than I expected to see."

I concentrated all of my energy, and pointed the staff towards Addy. "I hope there's no hard feelings against me as of right now, because the normal Addy would not hold anything against me." I shot a huge wave of water and made smoke surround her, and I felt ice shards flying past me, and looked behind me. Lia was helping me by using her own powers.

I sent Addy flying backwards, and she tried getting back up, but Jack's black mist was surrounding her. I flew over to her, and stood over her.

"So now who's the weak one?" I asked her.

"I hate you all, I hope you all die on your path to the castle. Lia isn't as innocent as you think she is." Addy muttered before she turned into nothing but a black cloud of death.

Jack dropped out of the sky and walked up behind me, with Lia coming right behind him. Lia didn't look too happy when she walked up to us.

"I said to maim her, not kill her!" Lia yelled at us, "I didn't give you the right!"

"It's not like we had a choice Lia! She was taunting me and trying to kill us!"

"That still doesn't give you the right!"

"It does too! I could've died if I didn't end up killing her! Lia, you need to understand, that was not the Addy I've known for years!"

"Guys, stop fighting, we're not gonna succeed anything from fighting." Jack walked in between us, "Fighting is immature."

"I don't really care, she still didn't have the right at all. She can't just go killing everyone she sees on the street that she thinks is suspicious. That's technically murdering my own sister, her own friend of many years. It's not right." Lia stated, spitting the venomous words towards me.

"But that wasn't Addy at all! Addy normally has the same powers as you Lia! She had fire instead! And technically, this wasn't murder, that was self defense. I could've died if I didn't end up using my water to stop her, I would've been dead and wouldn't know if my parents are still alive! Do you think I wanted to kill her? No! If I had my way, I would have it where she wasn't evil, but the writer wants to make sure that she keeps her promise to the actual person!" I spat back out to her. (A.N. sorry for the fourth wall break, I HAD TO.)

"THAT STILL DOESN'T END UP GIVING YOU THE RIGHT!" Lia yelled at me.

Jack pulled both Lia and I by the arm, and led us to the path again to continue to the castle.

This is why I wonder how much I can trust people.
