Lilla's POV
I’m growing fond of Dorian. He is a lot like Damon, but sweeter. I know I shouldn’t, considering he was going to die soon.
I made a deal with Vincent and I intend on keeping it. He gets Damon, Sadie and their son, and I get what’s rightfully mine.
Vincent stole it from me the day he tried to kill me.
It wasn’t too long ago, he found me hiding in an old farm house and when I ran, he found my locket, he didn’t know how important my locket is, but when I risked my life and went back for it, he kind of got the idea.
I asked for it back and he laughed. He told me he would return it if I helped him.
He wanted Sadie, Damon and Dorian. When I heard Damon’s name anger filled me and I was only too happy to help him.
This would be the perfect revenge.
But here I am, in his house pretending to help him, and finding an interest in his son.
It won’t be long now. I just need to get Damon to trust me again.
After what I did last time, I don’t think it will be easy.
Flash back
"Lilla, I have had enough of your games!" Damon shouted at me.
I grew angry. He was mad at me all the time.
"It’s over Lilla; I never want to see you again." He said firmly.
"Why? Because of Lexi, your brothers friend? You killed her Damon, not me!" I shouted back.
"It was your fault, and now Stephan is gone." He spat back.
"Fine! If Stephan is so important, then go! But don’t you dare come back." I said angrily.
Damon said nothing and left.
He came back five years later.
"I told you Damon, never come back." He was standing, looking at my old home.
He turned to face me, I thought I would see the same hatred in his eyes, but I didn’t, all I saw was confusion, like he didn’t know what he was doing.
Then the mob came, I warned them that a vampire was in town and they all came to destroy him.
Damon ran, before he did he gave me one final look, he was done with me. I thought he would turn me in as well, my vampire secret would be over, but he didn’t.
What he did was much worse. He had found a witch, and she bound me to a locket, the one Damon had given me on Christmas the year before.
The locket held my life, soul and everything I was. If someone had that locket, they could control me, and easily kill me.
So that is why I was here, leading Damon and his Son to their deaths, because I am selfish and value my life over theirs.
I need my locket back, I’m soulless without it.
Damon’s POV
I knocked on Lilla’s door softly, and entered. She was sat on her bed looking over at me.
"Can I help you Damon?" She asked, a look of interest on her face.
"You know you can Lilla. Why are you really here?" I said, sitting in the chair opposite her bed.
"To help you Damon. You know that." She said sweetly.
I looked her over, and noticed something was missing.
"Where is your locket?" I asked.
"You mean that retched thing you had me tied to? It’s safe, hidden away." She replied, a hint of anger in her voice.
"Good, wouldn’t want anyone getting hold of that." I laughed darkly and left the room.
Vincent’s POV
If Lilla didn’t hurry up and bring me the vampires, Sadie will have her baby, and I will have to face more complications!
I gripped Lilla’s locket tightly, and opened it.
"Be quick vampire or I will destroy you." I said into the locket, I knew Lilla would hear me in her head.
I headed down to where I kept Sadie; she was lying on the mattress I left for her, asleep. That’s all she had done lately. She was growing weaker.
I left her food and water inside the room then locked it again.
"Make sure the boy is weak when you bring him, I don’t want his powers ruining anything." I said into the locket again.
I went to the attic, and knocked lightly on the door.
"Enter." His cold voice called out.
I went into the attic, I could barely see him. His dark cloak sunk into the blackness of the room.
"They should be here soon." I told Death. He found me a year ago, and told me all about Sadie. Now I worked for him.
"Good." His voice was cold and hollow.
"Might I ask, why is it you want her so bad?" I asked.
"All answers will be revealed. And it isn’t just her I want. The boy must die, or I will never succeed." He said.
"Yes my lord." I left the room quickly.
Lilla’s POV
Vincent’s voice filled my head.
It sends shivers down my spine, such an evil voice.
I climbed out of bed and crept into Dorian’s room. He was sound asleep on the bed. He was fading still, disappearing slowly.
"I’m sorry Dorian, I really am. It will be over soon. I promise." I whispered to his unconscious body.
Dorian’s POV
I heard Lilla walk in, but I didn’t stir, I listened to her speak.
"I’m sorry Dorian, I really am. It will be over soon. I promise." She whispered.
What was she talking about?
Sadie’s POV
I can’t take this anymore, I feel so weak and broken, I have forgotten what people look like, I couldn’t place a face to Elena or Stephan, my dad’s face was fuzzy, the only face that really stayed in my head was Damon’s, he was the only one there, sometimes I could hear his voice in my head, he would just whisper to me.
I know he is coming to save me, I just know it, and he loves me and our baby.
Every day I hear Vincent coming down to bring me food and water, I would always pretend to be asleep. It wasn’t so much Vincent that made me feel weak, there was something in this house that really got to me, the last time I felt like this was when Death found me.
Something about this house, and whatever is in it, makes me feel weird, like I’m connected to it somehow.
So many thoughts run through my head, about this house, about Vincent, Damon, my baby, my mum, and my power; I hadn’t thought about using my power, I didn’t feel strong enough, but I knew, before my baby was born, I had to escape, even if it meant using my powers.
