She walked in her bedroom, switching the lights on of the room. Somehow she stumbled and fell. She wasn't drunk, but was. It wasn't alcohol but it was her own sorrows.

She fell flat on her back with arms spread out, like a cross. Slowly the silence in the surrounding turned into loud noises.

The creak sound of the fan. The wind blowing outside. The tick-tock sound of the clock. And her own heartbeat. Every sound seemed to be amplified.

She laid in the same position. The numbness in her body slowly spread. Only her chest moved up and down as she exhaled and inhaled. She could feel the blood pump through the arteries and veins.

5 minutes passed. 10 minutes passed. 30 minutes passed. But no one came. She hoped, someone would come in the room, searching for her, but no one came. She felt so weak to even get up on her own. She needed someone to help her stand u again.

Her mind was dizzy, she couldn't help but imagine scenario when someone would come and find her in that way. What'd be their reaction? What they might say? But no one came. She wanted to cry but no tears came.

After almost an hour later, she weakly tried to wiggle her limbs. And slowly with her own will and strength she pushed herself off the floor. Grabbing the chair next to her, she stood up. She took a deep breath as she stood up straight.

Then and there she knew, no one is ever going to come and help you stand up when you fall. You are on your own. With your own will power you've to stand up back again, and conquer.
