She laid on the couch staring at her wrist. Staring at the greenish purple vein on her wrist. Her finger tips touched the bulging veins, thinking of a blade. A tear roll down her cheeks onto the pillow she had under her head. She didn't bother to wipe it off as the other roll down as well.
She could feel her stomach tightening and aching, along with her limbs. Her head was aching, like it'd burst any moment now. She felt like every inch of her body was aching. Thinking that if she didn't do anything anytime soon her veins are going to burst as the pain took over her body.
But physical pain couldn't be the only reason behind her tears. Could it be?
Maybe it wasn't. Maybe it was. Maybe it was because she could only feel the physical pain but nothing emotional. Maybe she has adapted herself not to feel emotionally towards anything. To be numb.
