This is a sequal to Heart Like Stone. I can't force you to read HLS first, but I do strongly reccomend it. Happy Reading!

I sat on the bed in the guest room looking through old pictures of Greyson and I from our wedding. Which wasn’t so long ago. Maybe you remember me. My name is Rachel. Rachel Price. (Well, Chance now.) As of now, I am 19, and happily married to Greyson Chance. The love of my life. I have a son, and his name is Jeydon. A little miracle right there. He has some health problems, but it could have been so much worse. He’s only 2 now, when the doctors didn’t even think he’d make it past a few days.

Greyson is finally out of his coma watch, for the most part anyway. Just a few headaches now, which he says isn’t bad at all.

“MUMMA.” I heard Jeydon yell from the other side of the house. “WHERE DADDY GO?” I saw the door push open, as he stood there leaning on it.

“We dropped him off at the airport three days ago, remember? He’s going to New York for a few days.” I set the pictures down.

“But...but I miss him!” He cried. I hated this. Most of the time, Jeydon follows me around, total Momma’s Boy. But when his dad is gone, he knows.

“I know, I do too.” I frowned. “Come here, want to look at some pictures with me?”

He smiled, and ran into the room. I pulled him up onto the bed and sat him on my lap.

“Who dat?” He pointed to a girl in one of the pictures.

“You’re silly, thats Uncle Cody with Aunt Natalie.”

“Oh,” He smiled, putting the picture down, picking up another one. “Is this you mommy?” He pointed a little finger to a small girl in a picture, standing next to a little boy.

“Yeah, thats me. With Uncle Jacob.”

    “Who Jacob?”

“My brother. You’ll get to see him this Christmas when we go back to Maine.”

“Who this?” He pointed to a different picture. I laughed.

“Thats Daddy when he was your age. Looks a lot like you, huh?”

Jeydon, got Greyson’s ears. Which Grey wasn’t too happy about, but I loved them. He had Greyson’s smile, and nose. Everything about them was so similar.

He has your eyes.” Greyson told me when he was born. That was really the only major part of me I could see in him.

“Mommy.” Jeydon put the pictures down. “When daddy coming home.”

    “Saturday.”

    “What today?”

    “Wednesday..”

His eyes got watery. “But I wanna see him.”

“He wants to see you too.” I frowned, standing up holding Jeydon in my arms.

It was hard, when we were apart. Especially now with Jeydon. But it was something we had to do. Greyson and I agreed to give him as much of a normal life as he could have.

I just wanted to be the best I could be for him.
