As I sit in my room contemplating which country to run off to, I realize that I can't leave. I'm not going to run away from this. I just want to know the truth. I want to know why he lied. I want to know why there's a baby in the first place. I want to know where he stands with Belle. I want to know the truth. The whole truth. I want to know everything.
I know where he's staying. I grab the keys to Adele and head out. I'm wearing socks with my slides and my hair is tossed into a messy bun. I don't care right now. I'm going to get to the bottom of this. Also, what about Katie? Where does Dylan stand with her. Where do I stand with Dylan? I have multiple inquiries about the situation.
When I arrive at the house, I see Max and Derek sitting outside. They're discussing something, they look like they're listening inside. I see that the Mustang is here and the baby mobile. I step out of the car and Derek is quick to snap his head in my direction with Max following his actions.
"Don't go in there Raimy," Max warns me.
"Why? I'm so sick of you two covering up for him. Tell me the fucking truth for once. If you don't tell me everything that's going on, I'm going in there," I yell at them. I'm furious. I am not about to put up with any bullshit right now.
"We can't Raimy, it's not our place," Derek reasons, hoping that I'll be reasonable and just go home. They are wrong. I am not just going to go home. I'm getting my answers.
"Then you leave me no choice," I swing the door open to find Dylan and Belle arguing over something.
They both snap their heads up at me, Dylan looks shocked. "Out."
"Excuse me," Belle snaps back. She rises to her feet, holding the baby in her arms. I give her a sharp look before narrowing my eyes on her.
"You heard me, get out or I'll call the cops and have them escort you out," I counter, "you can come back later, it's my turn to talk to Dylan."
"You really have quite the mouth on you," She angrily says as she gathers her things into her arms. I laugh as she storms dramatically out the door.
"What are you doing here Raimy," Dylan approaches me, reaching for my sides.
"No, sit, " I order firmly. He seems taken aback but follows my directions, "tell me the truth. I'm sick of the lies and the back and forth. I just want the truth, Dyl."
"You want the truth?" He laughs as if it's a joke. It's not a joke to me. It shouldn't be to him either.
"Yes," I clarify.
"Fine, here's the truth. I was head over heels for Belle in high school. She was the love of my life. My dad had been arrested for drug abuse. My mom was a train wreck. I raised myself. Yet Belle was there for me. From my freshman year to mid-way through my senior year," He starts.
"So what changed," I inquire.
"She turned on me. We fought one night and I told her that I wanted more for us. I wanted more than just high school. She was the only person I'd ever invested my feelings into. She was the only person in my life I cared about. I would've done anything just to keep a smile on her face, but when she told everyone about everything, I was done with her," He explains.
"She betrayed you," I begin to understand where this is going.
"Yeah, and now she shows up with a baby which she claims is mine. Raimy, I swear there's no way in hell that baby is mine. I haven't spoken to her in almost two years. It doesn't add up," He's almost in tears as he explains the story.
"Dylan it's okay. Why weren't you just honest with me from the start?" I ask cautiously.
"I didn't want you to ever have to hear about her. She's crazy Raim, I just didn't want her anywhere near you. She has no limits," He warns me. I nod in response, "but I'm here for you okay? I'm not gonna let her get anywhere near you."
