Dylan and I hadn't spoken in two days. However, a lot has happened in these two days. Where do I even begin?

It all started with Cole and Emma. After visiting Cannon Beach, they decided that it would be an amazing place to open another cafe. Sammy and Jake adored the beach and the area so much that they were willing to make the sacrifice and move out to Cannon. This, obviously, caused chaos and disaster.

It was already hard enough for my mom to know that her ex husband and father of her only child was remarried and happily living with another family. Cole couldn't just leave her alone, could he? It was almost like he was taunting her. When mom discovered the news of Cole's choice, she was heartbroken.

On the upside, Emma was also moving. Mom and Emma had become incredibly close in these past few weeks and mom was thrilled to have her moving in. She would be living in the house directly next to mine. Great.

Cole and Elena were going to be moving into a place farther from the beach and up towards the mountains. Elena was thrilled to be moving the boys out to such a great community. They would be attending the schools I went to when I was their age. In other words, our lives had all just taken a turn for the wild. How was I supposed to ignore my feelings for Dylan when he was living in the house next to mine? I guess it's better than him living in the room next to mine.

Soon enough, in about a month, we would both be on opposite sides of the country. However, a month is a long time to ignore those lustful looks and that husky voice, don't forget his incredible body. I need to stop.

I was going to have to figure something out and figure it out quickly.

"Raimy, are you in there," My mom calls from the hallway. I open the door to my room, revealing my mom with a tear stained face. Austin was on a weekend trip for work so he wasn't aware of any of this.

"Oh mom," I pull her in for a hug. She begins to cry again. I've never seen her so hurt. Grandma was in Portland, picking up grandpa so it was just the two of us. It was around 11:30pm and she hadn't stopped crying all day.

"I am not okay," She tells me. I've never seen her so upset. Not even after he left. Although, she may have just been holding back around me so that I wouldn't be upset. I was though.

"I know this is hard mama," I start to tell her. I lead her over to the bed and we sit down, "but you have Austin and he has some bimbo he found on the streets of Seattle."

"She is a bimbo isn't she?" My mom laughs.

"Yes! Cheer up lady, you have a wedding to be preparing for, you don't need to be worrying about Cole and Elena moving out here," I reassure her.

"Thank you pumpkin," She smiles, heading for the door.

"Where ya headed?" I inquire as she skips down towards the front door.

"I need to do something I should've done a long time ago," She smiles as she exits the house and walks off to her car. I know she is going to tell Cole off, to tell him what she should have told him the minute after he left.

She has a new found confidence ever since Austin came into her life. They really hit it off and he gave her a sense of respect for herself. I love that woman more than anyone on this Earth so if she is happy, so am I.

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Bastille. My personal favorite song is Glory. I've been trying to stop listening to such deep depressing music and start rocking out to the music that makes me happy. Lorde is forever in my heart, though.

I play this song as I enter my car. I was planning on doing some exploring today with Ally. We haven't adventured around here in awhile. Maybe see what the high school kids have been up to lately. See if they have added anything to our legacy. We had quite the legacy here. I won't get into it now, but we were pretty sick.
