His hands traced my body. It was only moments ago that we were screaming at each other, now his hands are smearing my scented lotion across my bare back. I groan with pleasure escaping my lips. I can practically feel his smirk. He knows the affect he has on me. It was a feeling I hadn't felt before, his hands on my skin. I wondered how it made him feel, if it was just some girl or if it was special to him. To me this was something I couldn't explain, I couldn't put it into words. It felt like nothing, I didn't think it was true. I had heard rumors about how a the right person could make you feel, I'd even read books about it. Although they seemed so far from the truth at the time, I understood now. I understood how those characters felt. You can read all about it, but it's something you can't understand until you feel it.
I was jolted out of slumber by Ally, Keshawn, Andrew, Carolina, Blake, Livia, and Mason. All of our best friends. All of the people I had spent the last year of my life with. My Santa Barbra family. I turned red immediately, scratching the back of my neck. None of them new about the dream I just had but I did. I couldn't get it out of my head. I was just wishing that it was real. That the main character in that little production wasn't living Boston.
My friends were dead set on me having the most amazing birthday of my life. I was 19 for goodness sakes. I was old enough to have a good old time today. We decided we would go up to our camping spot. We planned on camping down by the beach. So we got all packed up and ready to go. I made sure to let everyone know that I'd be going out of service until later that night. We did have to go back because all of our first classes started tomorrow.
Anyways, Andrew was always the drinks guy so while he did that we got snacks and gas ready to head up to our favorite place. We planned on body surfing and cliff jumping while we were there. It was going to be a blast. Then later we might stop by one of our favorite clubs.
I was thrilled to head over there today. I was excited to have my mind taken off the one person that I couldn't stop thinking about. I was excited to spend my special day with all my special people.
So we headed up. I can easily say that it was one of the best birthdays of my life. My friends totally got my mind off of Dylan. I was so easily distracted by all of the fun we were having. We went cliff jumping with these guys we met at the campsite. They were really nice and they were from Portland. It was nice seeing someone from my part of the world in my new home. It was nice being in this place.
We had a ton of fun. We were there til late that night, we roasted marshmallows and made some s'mores. By the time we were done, I just wanted to go home. Ally was ready to go as well. So we parted ways with our friends after cleaning up our site and we left.
It was an amazing day. As I came back into service, I was receiving multiple texts. Most of them were last minute birthday texts, but there was one that stood out among the rest. It was from Boston.
Meet me at the office asap. I have some serious things to discuss, exciting news. I'll be at the office late, probably til mid night. Text me when you receive this.
I realize it is around 11:30 when I read this. So I tell Ally we need to swing by the office before it's too late. I text Boston and tell him that I am on my way. It takes about 15 minutes to get from where I was to get to the office. So when I arrived I practically ran inside. I found all the lights off except for the one in Boston's office. I called out to him to tell him I was here.
Little did I know the news he was going to change my life forever. He dropped unimaginable news on me. News that I didn't believe could be real! Could it be too good to be true? Never, never in a million years. Little did I know.
"I have some exciting news for you Raim, I wanted to tell you on your birthday. I figured it would help brighten your special day," He tells me.
"Oh come on Boston, just spill already," I laugh as he continues to stall.
