It was 9:30 which means that it's time for bed in the house. Every one split up into their rooms and I put my laptop in my bag and slung it over my shoulder as I headed out with my board.

"You should really start to try to sleep." Dorris sighed as she saw me heading out.

"Only in your dreams." I sigh as I push the door open. I start skating, just looking for a good place to stop. I saw a McDonalds ahead and since they have wifi I stopped there. I saw a homeless man outside though. He looked like he hadn't slept, or had a decent meal in weeks. That sucks. And trust me, I know. I frown as I walked in.

"How may I help you?" A worker asked me as I got in line.

"Can I have two McDoubles, large fries, and a water?" I asked her. She scanned my body up and down and then told me how much I owe. I check my wallet to see I'm down a dollar. I realized I left the money I made today in my hat still, and I left my hat at home! God damn it!

"Shit. I don't have enough." I sighed. "Then you can't have your meal." She shrugged.

"You don't understand though, I'm just down a dollar." I said, emphasizing the 'just'.

"Still a dollar down." She shrugged again.

"Let me get that." Someone says from behind me. I turn around to see the same people from today, except for the one that I learned to be Sam, and the one I learned to be Aaron was with them now. I was a little shocked that this is the second time I've seen them-that is not on a screen. Colby steps up and pays for my food.

"You didn't need to do that." I thanked them as I waited for the food to arrive. I sat down as Aaron stayed at the register to order their meal. They sat down with me.

"Sure we did. She was rude just because you were down a dollar. That's not fair." Colby said to me.

"But you didn't have to pay for the whole thing. I just needed a dollar." I argued. I hate it when people spend money on me. It makes me feel like they're wasting their hard earned cash.

"Well I did." He shouts. I giggle at the sudden outburst.

"So, why are you up so late?" Corey asked me. I check my phone to see that it's already eleven. I must've been skating for a while.

"I um..." I trailed off. I don't just want to tell them. Then, as if on cue, the cashier calls out my order saying it's done.

"I should go get that. I'll be right back." I say as I quickly got up. I grabbed my tray and started to walk outside. I can see the group of YouTubers give me confused glances as they see me leave the restaurant. I walk back to the man from before I went into the restaurant and gave him the food and water.

"Thank you so much." He praised as he glanced up at me. "Take some too" he said offering me the second burger.

"No thank you. It looks like you could use it the most." I smiled at him as I walked back inside. I went back and sat at the same table as earlier.

"That was an amazing thing you just did." Aaron smiled at me as I sat down.

"I saw him as I came in and I wasn't going to get any food anyways, so I just thought I should." I shrugged as I played with my thumbs a bit.

"But you look so skinny! Why didn't you get at least a fry?" Corey asked me, looking a bit worried.

"I'm not that hungry." I told him. I'm not. I'm starving. So I didn't lie thank you very much.

"And besides, I already ate at the orphanage." I said. Not a lie either. I just didn't keep it in my system.

"Oh. Then why'd you come here?" Devyn asked me. It's because I can't sleep.

"Because the wifi here is good." I lied. I can't be a saint all the time. We stayed there for a while and talked for what felt like hours. They're actually really funny in real life too. It was around midnight and they thought it would be a good time to go.

"Do you want a ride back to the orphanage?" Corey asked as he twirled his keys around his finger.

"No thanks. I'm just gonna hang here for a bit." I shrugged as they began to make their way out. I got my laptop out and plugged my headphones that came with it in and began watching more of their videos. I checked the time to see it was two in the morning. I packed my laptop back in my bag and picked up my board as I left the restaurant and began to walk around a bit. Watching as only a few cars would drive by. It began to sprinkle little bits of rain. Realising I'm about a block away from the orphanage I get my penny board and skate there. By the time I get back the sprinkle of rain turned into a full on downpour. I ran into the orphanage and shook my wet hair out a bit. I look around to see that no ones awake. Cool. I go into our living room and turned on Netflix and started where I left off on Bates Motel because Emma is aesthetics.

"Damn Dillon is hot." I giggle out as I started to pay more attention to the show. I kept watching more and more episodes until I something rub against my leg. I look down to see our house dog, Roze. We spelt it that way because we're weird. I pick her up and put her on my lap. I began to pet her while I continue to watch the show. As I started to zone out into the show again, I felt something come up from beside me. I got a little freaked because I'm the only one up. I let out a shriek when I felt someone tap my arm. I quickly flinch as I turn to see who it was. I look up to see a sleepy looking Sarah. It's around 4:50 at this point, and the fact that she's up doesn't surprise me that she's looking as tired as she is.

"Jeez Sarah, you almost made me have a heart-attack." I giggle at the sleepily looking girl. "Why are you up?" I ask her.

"I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep." She yawned.

"Do you want to lay down next to me?" I ask as Roze hopped off of me. Sarah nodded and laid down next to me, laying her head in my lap. I gently stroke her hair as I continued to watch the show. I checked my phone a couple episodes later to see that it's already 5:45.

"Hey Sarah," I whispered as I lightly shook her awake. "want to go see one of the most prettiest things about this city?" I ask her with a smile once her eyes were fully opened. She slowly nodded and rubbed her eyes as I helped her up. We started walking to the third floor and I opened a window that has a little balcony to the roof. We sit on the roof and I check the time again. 6:00. It's time for one of the most beautiful things about this city. The sun began to lightly rise in the distance. Peaking over the rooftops of downtown LA. Making every house, and building, and rooftop bathe in marvelous pale light from the big ball of radiation we call the sun. The warm glow already making my pale face heat up.

"Wow." Sarah awed, baffled by the sight before her.

"Yea." I sighed. This morning is already perfect in my eyes. Let's see how the rest of today will go.
