Sick Little Games [Jack Barakat]

12 Hours Left

"Maddy." Jack said, walking into the room, "We have to leave soon. Are you ready?"

I finished zipping up my luggage, "I am."

He grabbed my luggage off the bed and smiled at me, "Let's go, Alex and Lisa are here."

As he said it I heard a car honk loudly and Alex shout, "LET'S GO, PENIS BRICKS."

I laughed and walked over to the winow, "ON OUR WAY DOWN, VAGINA TWIGS."

I closed the window and followed Jack downstairs and out the door.

"Who's ready for a 12 hour drive?" Alex shouted sarcastically.

"11 and a half." I opened the door to the back seat, "Hey Lise."

"12 Hours with traffic." Alex said. "Hey, Mad. Hey Jack." Lisa said from the passanger seat. Jack and I got in the back seat's of Alex cars after throwing our stuff in the trunk.

"So," Alex started as he backed out of the driveway, "We're going to meet Rian, Cassadee, Zack and Lindsey all at that gas station down the road and then we're off."

"Sweet." Jack said, settting his hand on top of mine.

So we drove about five minutes to the gas station and Alex got out to fill up his tank. Rian pulled up in his car shortly after and did the same, and then we were off. Rian and them all in a car following close behind us.

And now started the drive.

12 Hours Left

We'd be stopping every three hours to fill up the tanks and switch drivers until we made it to our destination.

The first hour was spent talking about old high school memories.

11 Hours Left

The next hour was spent playing stupid car games like I Spy, The Alphabet Game, and The License Plate Game.

10 Hours Left

The next hour I handed snacks out to everyone and we talked about tour. All the stupid shit we did, the fun stuff we should've did.

By 3, Alex pulled into a near by gas station and it was Lisa's turn to drive.

9 Hours Left

This happened to be more high school memories, and talk about the tattoo I wanted to get. That one I showed Jack a while ago when I got my nose pierced.

Lisa and Alex liked it.

8 Hours Left

This consisted of Jack complaining he had to pee every two minutes and Alex bitching at him for not going at our last stop.

Jack ended up peeing in a water bottle and throwing it out the window.

7 Hours Left

This pretty much consisted of us fighting over where we would eat.

We settled on McDonalds, drive thru, then headed to a gas station to fill and switch.

6 Hours Left

Now Jack was driving and I was in the passenger seat. This hour consisted of Lisa and Alex picking in Jack for his terrible driving.

I've driven with him enough times I'm used to it. Plus, they're over reacting, ever since Jack and I started dating, I've given him lots of tips. He's a decent driver, now.

5 Hours Left

Alex and Lisa put a movie in the movie thing and cuddled in the back seat. I was kinda jealous.

Jack and I were silent as they yelled at us every time we breathed. And since I would be driving next, I decided to go to sleep for a while.

4 Hours Left

I was staring out the window when I felt Jack set his hand on mine. I looked over at him, he looked at me for a second with a smile on his face before looking back at the road.

We pulled into a gas station, it was 10 o'clock now.

We woke up Alex and Lisa for a bathroom break.

3 Hours Left

I was now in the drivers seat, everyone knew I was the best driver out of the 4 of us, so I took the night shift.

But Jack promised to stay up with me as I drove.

2 Hours Left

Alex was slightly snoring in the back seat.

Jack and I talked about how Alex should just propose to Lisa already and how we should be the god parents to their kids.

1 Hour Left

It was pretty quiet now, and Jack tapped on my shoulder. I looked over to see a big WELCOME TO FLORIDA sign. I smiled and looked at the road.

We finally got off the highway and roamed the streets of Jacksonville.

We found our cabin and woke up the two fucks in the back seat. As the four of us got out of the car, Zack pulled up in Rians car. We walked into the giant four bedroom cabin and picked our rooms. Jack and I got the left room on the second floor.

It was nice. In our bedroom was a King sized bed, a dresser with a mirror, a closet, two couches, a bathroom and a balcony. All four rooms had a balcony, though.

In the backyard of the cabin was a giant lake and deck, along with a rented boat and jet skis.

This trip was going to be amazing.
