She's So Cute When She Sleeps

Day 1 Of Vacation
June 1st, 2014

I woke up to the sound of laughter from a different room. I rolled over and noticed Jack was gone. I slid my glasses on my face because without them I'm blind as a fucking bat. I looked over at my phone to see it was 8 am. I sat up and looked around the room, I was super confused at first, but then remembered we were in the cabin. 

I got up and slid on a pair of shorts before heading downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to see all seven of my friends sitting around the table.

"GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!" Cassadee shouted and they all looked up at me. 

"Hello." I said, still exhausted from being in a car for twelve straight hours.

"Guys," Alex said, "I think this is a first. We are all up before Maddy."

"Shut up," I smiled, leaning against the counter. "I had the night shift."

"So did Zacky." Alex fought back, "And he's up."

I flicked him off and a couple people giggled.

"Sit." Lindsay, Zack's girlfriend, smiled and patted the seat next to hers. I smiled and sat down next to her as Rian handed me a plate.

We all dug into the giant buffet that someone -Probably Rian- cooked for us. 

"So what are we doing today?" I asked.

"I wanna take you out on one of those jet skis." Jack said to me across the table.

"That would be so fun." I nodded.

"Yeah, I say we just chill on the lake today." Rian agreed.

So after we finished eating, we all headed up to our rooms to get changed. I slid on my black and white striped bikini and pulled a pair of jean shorts over it. I grabbed a black Maddawg shirt and slid that on too. 

I started brushing my hair and looked over at Jack, he threw my sunglasses at me from across the room and I thanked him. I threw my hair up in a bun and slid on the glasses.

"Ready?" I asked him, putting on my flip flops.

"Ready." He smiled and opened the door for me. I laughed and walked down the hallway and to the stairs. Jack and I walked down to the deck, Zack and Lindsay were already checking everything out.

"Four jetskis and one speed boat." Zack informed us.

"Yeah, and there's two tubes for the boat." Lindsay nodded. 

I watched Zack put the cooler on the boat as Cass and Rian walked up behind us. 

We all got on the boat and paitently waited for Alex and Lisa, who showed up a few minutes later. They joined us on the boat and we were off. Alex driving.

We just rode around on the boat for a while on the lake waving and honking at all other speed boats we passed. Alex pulled up to some little island thingy. It wasn't actually an island, but it was land in the middle of the lake with a giant forest. Lots of boats were parked around it with people just hanging out.

"Let's go!" Lisa squealed, taking her shirt off, revealing her bright pink top.

"I'm in." Lindsay smiled, taking hers off too.

And before I knew it, everyone was stripping from their clothes. When we were all in our bathing suits, we hopped off the boat and into the water. We swam around for a while until we got board.

"Guys wanna go adventure?" I pointed towards the island. 

They all agreed and we were off. We walked past a bunch of screaming kids, laughing teenagers, dancing young adults, and chatting adults into the forest.
