Code Red

Chapter 4

Grecia woke up to a loud noise.

"Oh goody, you're awake." She looked around. She was in a weird glass tube connected to a lot of wires. Julian and Commander Dre where in similar glass tubes next to her. They looked unconscious. There was a central panel in the middle with a lot of knobs and buttons and a man was pressing them.

"Who are you?" said Grecia.

"Me? Well, I can be many things. I can be a thief , or a hero, or all of the above. But for right now call me King."

"Let me go!" Grecia tried to move but she was paralyzed.

"Haha yeah, you can't move. Oops!" He giggled joyfully at his creation.

"Why am I here?"

"Because, honey, you're important to my plan."

"What plan? Who are you?"

"I am the Supreme Leader of all mankind. A little cheesy, don't you think?"

"You're the alien king? But you look human. And-"

"Scrawny? Don't worry sweetie this is temporary. I'm just using this body. His name was Ray. Isn't that 'king' in one of your planet's languages? I think spanish. I thought it was fitting."

"You're using a poor kid's body!"

"It's fine, he's not dead. I'll give it back."

"So why am I here?"

"I need something from you."

"Too bad."

"I already got it, sweetheart."

"Then let me go."

"I can't. Just in case." Grecia was about to speak when she saw Julian move. He opened his eyes. He blinked, saw where he was, and started panicking.

"Let me go!" He was banging on the glass.

"No. You're annoying." said Ray, and put a sheet over his tube. He turned to the Commander's tube. He was still asleep. Ray pressed some numbers on the key pad and the glass case rose up. Ray snapped his fingers and two faceless people came and took the Commander out of the room.

"Where are you taking him?" asked Grecia.

"What's going on?" said Julian. Ray looked annoyed.

"He's gonna do some tests. So shut up." Ray proceeded to walk out.

"You scared to face me?" yelled Grecia. he stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly. He walked slowly to Grecias glass case.

"Scared? I'm not scared. But you should be. I am the supreme leader and I own you. You bow down to me! For centuries we have wanted this earth and we are so close to getting it. And you will not stop us. Nothing will stop us. Not you, not you're friends, no one. I will destroy you happiness, if it's the last thing I do." He smiled at her, and then left.

"One more thing.When your little boyfriend comes to your rescue, I will kill him and make you watch." He giggled. Grecia stared in horror as he left the room.
