"Great. Does anyone even know how to use this?" Lucia waved the Teleporta around.
Chiara groaned. "Shut up, okay? My feet hurt and you're annoying me and I'm tired."
Arken just stared at the ground, and Lucia wondered how well he had known Lex. She was going to say something, but decided against it. She turned back to the Teleporta and continued to tinker with it. She pressed every button, but the the strange blue cylinder didn't react at all. She finally discovered a piece was missing. She cursed under her breath and put the Teleporta in her pocket.
"Come on. Get up."
Chiara rolled her eyes. "Where are we going?"
"To a friends house. The Teleporta is missing a piece and I know who might have it." Lucia replied.
"At least you have a friend." Arken said. Chiara rolled her eyes again.
"What a loser. How can you not have friends?" She said.
Arkens face turned red and he stood up. "Alexis was one of my only friends left! They all died when the aliens came and bombed the schools! I was home with the flu, and my mom was at the school, explaining to the principal why I wasn't there! She's dead because of me! And so is Alexis! She had ditched school to see if I was okay, but it was all for nothing because she died anyway! So stop complaing like a little brat, Chiara, cause we all have things to complain about that are much worse!" Tears were streaming down his face and he turned away. Lucia flipped off Chiara and went to go talk to him. After a couple minutes, they finally decided to go get the missing piece.
"What friend has the piece, Lucia? Because some of your friends are creeps." Said Chiara.
"Well, Chiara, some of my friends are creeps, but right now creeps are the only ones alive."
"Name?" Chiara asked.
Lucia turned around and looked at her.
"We're gonna go visit Dexter Flames."
