Chapter 9

"I can't take it anymore! Mariana, shut up! Luis, stop complaining! We have to go help Lucia because she obviously can't save the world without me. I mean, we wouldn't want her to take all the credit, right? So shut up, and keep walking." Chiara turned her back to them and kept walking.

"No! You don't tell me what to do!" said Mariana.

"Yeah!" Luis agreed.

"Um, I'm the oldest, and the bestest, and right now, the rightest, so yes I am the boss of you!"

"Nuh uh!"

"Uh huh!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Shut up! You're so annoying!" Chiara was about to slap them in the face. They continued to walk when finally they saw Lucia and a couple other people in the distance.

"Lucia! Hey! Lucia!" Chiara ran, waving like a crazy woman. Lucia turned around to see her sister running at her.

"Chiara! Are you ok? Why are you here?" She hugged her sister and looked at her. Chiara frowned.

"Ew, your face. Stop worrying, you're getting wrinkles." Chiara said, trying to lighten the mood. Lucia looked at the ground.

"Daniel and Tony were taken by the aliens. They died saving us." Chiara gasped.

"Ew, they're not dead. Stop being so negative Lucia, we'll get then back."

"How? How are we gonna get them back?" Lucia was yelling now. "They were kidnapped by the aliens we've been in a war with for freakin since we were born, and you think we can just sneak on?"

Chiara took a step back. "Stop yelling at me!" Lucia pushed her.

"Shut up! Just shut up! I don't wanna talk to you!"

While Chiara and Lucia fought, Luis looked at Arken. He stared at him.

Why is he smiling? It's almost like.... he wants them to fight.

Just as Luis was going to say something, Mariana got between them.

"Stop it guys! This isn't helping!" Mariana pushed them apart. Between all the drama, Luis continued to look at Arken. Why had he been smiling?
