Chapter 8: Can't Wait

Irt was 2:03, it was almost departure. I can't help but think and smile of excitement. I kept staring on my book (without actually reading it) but reimagining the girl beside my dad in their old school photo and why she looks so familiar.

----Time skip----

The bell rang, it was 2:30. I could'nt beleive how the time was so fast. I quickly run through the hallway and pass by Fergie and Allison.

Fergie:
Wow, I never see Aurora run that fast.

Allison:
Me either

I can feel my legs' excitement because I can't stop. After the curve to the next hallway I bumped into someone. It was Mindy, the mean, snobby, richest girl in the school.

Mindy:
Ouch, OMG you ruined my designer dress!

Me:
Im so sorry Mindy. I did'nt mean to-

Mindy:
Just watch where your going you loser. Because of you I'm gonna be late for my hair appointment.

Me:
I'm really sorry but I have to go.

She slapped her hair as I started to run going out the school doors and quickly got into my bus. I look and I was the first one there.

Bus driver:
Woah Aurora are you in a hurry? You're the the first one here

Me:
Heh sorry guess I just wanted to go home

Bus driver:
Well since its your birthday I"ll take you to your house now. What do you say?

Me:
But what about the others? Aren't we gojna wait for them?

Bus driver:
Nah they could wait beside they probably don't want to go home yet

Me:
Yeah I guess you're right, lets go

The driver started his engine and turned the bus going to my house. I cant beleive I'm the only one on the bus. I quickly got the small box that Fergie and Allison gave me for my birthday and opened it it was a picture of us when we were small and a letter that says:

Dear Aurora,

   Happy birthday bestie, thanks for 6 years of friendship. We hope that it will last forever until we all grow up and have kids like our dads did before. We love you and may your wishes come true.
