Yuki, Yori, and I were sitting in class when girls started talking about st. chocolates day.
"Everyone seems so excited," Yori said in her usual monotone voice.
"Well, tomorrow is the annual, St. Xocolatl's day." Yuki smiles.
"The girls give chocolates to boys they have a crush on and declare their love. So silly. It's so ridiculous." The class president said.
"Right." I huff with my eyes closed and my heads resting in my hand.
"It's unbecoming for a revered institute of high learning! I'm absolutely against this kind of thing." He walks off as he adjusts his glasses.
"Someone might give chocolates to you too, Class president," Yori said. He stops and gasps, and blurts out.
"R-Ruka-chan." And starts drooling.
all the other guys were depressed because they knew they wouldn't get any because of the night class.
"Yori-chan, Are you going to give anyone chocolates?" Yuki asks.
"No, I'm not interested. What about you Yuki?"
"Oh... Um... I'm not interested either." Yuki smiles.
"Then what's that?" I ask pointing at the magazine with chocolates on it.
"Oh, this...? It doesn't mean anything."
"Then what's it for?"
They both started acting 'natural' as Yori stated the obvious, "There's someone in the back that keeps glaring at you,"
"Wow, I couldn't notice," I stated
"I know," Yuki says, it was Zero.
I decided to stand up and walk out of the room for some fresh air.
"Aika... He would like to tell you something." Kaname and Aido come up to me.
Aido rubs the back of his necks and looks down at me. "I apologize..." he looks around, "for feeding on you."
"It's fine, I'd just prefer if you never do that again."
"Trust me, it'll never," Kaname says as he glares at Aido.
With that, they both take there to leave and I head up to my dorm. I decided I was going to skip the rest of the remaining classes.
I turned the corner and I was about to reach for my doorknob it was already open. I pushed the door open and the wind was blowing in from the open window. I closed the window and sat upon my bed. My room was on the top floor of the dorms and I had no roommate.
I laid back and stared at the ceiling. Slowly, my eyes became heavy and I drifted to sleep.
"I got this for you!' A boy with dark hair gave me a few flowers he had just freshly picked.
I couldn't see his face but you could tell he was smiling.
"Why did you pick these for me?" I reached for the flowers.
"I know how much you enjoy them, so I wanted you to have your own." As I had the flowers in my grasp, the thorns pierced my skin. The blood dripped and dripped until I set the flowers beside me and suddenly, there was no blood, no cuts.
Out of the blue, there was a knock at my door. I arose from my bed and rubbed my blue eyes.
"Who's there?"
"It's me." His voice always seemed to relax me. I unlock the door and let him in.
"I saw you walk out of class so I came to check up on you."
"Zero, you know I'm not a baby."
"To me you are." He faintly smirks.
"Oh shut up." I hit his shoulder. He looked a little strained like he was trying to resist something. "Zero, What's wrong?'
"Huh? Nothing. Why do you ask?"
"You look pale. Have you eaten?" I reach for his forehead but he moved away. "Why are you acting like that?"
His eyes diverted from my own and moved to my neck and I thought back to what she said."You can't hurt a pureblood."
Zero...
He turned around to leave but I grabbed his hand. "Zero, I know..."
He looked back at me and his eyes started shimmering with a red luster. I'm sorry. I pull at my collar.
"Go ahead..."
"I couldn't..."
"It's okay..." I cooed.
"No. Me being in the stage I am, I if taste your blood I very well will kill you." Knowing he wouldn't budge, I bit the skin at the point of my finger. I started waving my hand so he'd sense it more. He hesitated but he grabbed my finger and started sucking on it like a baby.
"Who's the baby now?" As I said that, his hunger overtook his senses. He pushed me down to the bed and unbuttoned the second and third buttons. I felt his breath on his neck immediately followed by the pain of his fangs piercing my neck.
I gasped and he covered my mouth in case the volume increased. I felt the blood being sucked out of me, it was almost sensual. After a few more seconds I started to feel fuzzy. He pulled away and moved over to the other side of my neck.
I grabbed his hand off my mouth. "Zero, That's enough." He kept going. "Zero, you're going to kill me..."He stops and lifts himself up. Hovering above me, the blood on his lips drips on my cheek. you could see his fangs peeking out his mouth.
"I'm sorry... I lost my self there." His fangs slowly went back. He stood up as he wiped his bloody mouth. He went into my bathroom and grabbed two big bandaids and put them on my neck.
He stood in front of me and continued to stare at me as I sat on the bed. After what just happened, it seemed a little awkward. Zero grabbed my elbow and pulled me up from the bed and pulled me close to him. He bent down and placed a kiss upon my lips. I didn't pull away, but I should have. The kiss depend and he stopped when his eyes started to glow once again.

"I shouldn't have done that either, I felt the urge. I'm sorry." He left the room without saying anything else.
Still feeling dizzy, I sat back down and slept for the rest of the day not bothering to tell Yuki or Zero that I wasn't going to show up to help them tonight with the cross over.
