I walked into the office. The lady that looked around her late twenties, early thirties looked up from the computer in front of her.

"Can I help you dear?" she asked.

"Yes you can actually. My name is Amelia Sanchez." I said. "I was suppose to pick up my schedule."

"Oh yes. I have it right here." she said. She came forward with a folder in her hand. "Here is your schedule and a map of the school." she said as she handed the folder to me. I lightly thanked her and left the room.

I stared at the map for a few minutes trying to figure out where to go to get to my first class. Once I had a route down I put the map and the schedule in my bag and started to walk. I got to the class door in five minutes. The door was shut and I could hear the class talking in the room. I stood outside the door. All I needed to do was turn the door knob and walk in, but I had to admit it to myself. I was nervous. My day didn't start off well with the stand of with the new girl, but how bad could my first class get? My dad would not want me to be hiding behind my own self. He'd want to make it as it is and be who I am and I am not the person to run away when something gets tough. I took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping in. Everyone looked my way.

"You must be our new classmate Amelia." the teacher said.

"Emmie." I corrected. I'm gonna be doing that a lot today.

"Well Emmie, welcome. Have a seat next to Hannah." he said, pointing to the only empty seat in the room. I walked to the seat, realizing who is sitting right behind me.

"Well we meet again new girl."
