I was hoping Kendall didn't see her tweet, but luck was not on my side. Five minutes later I heard knocking on my bedroom door. I put the book Of Mice and Men down that I had to read for English and went to answer it. It was Kendall.
"Hey." I said. "How did you get up here?"
"You're at let me come up." Kendall said. "We need to talk."
"Okay, come in." I said. I went back to where I had the book.
"I saw the tweet." Kendall said, shutting the door.
"What tweet?" I asked. I knew what he was referring to.
"The one about you using kitchen as shampoo." Kendall said. "I knew something was up when you got in the car, but I let it go, but now I want some answers. What did that girl mean by that tweet?"
"It's nothing." I said, trying to avoid it.
"No it's not nothing. Emmie, please just tell me." Kendall said. He came over and sat near me. "You can tell me anything."
"Okay fine, but you have to promise you won't react in any way." I said. He just nodded, not saying anything. I took a deep breath before speaking again. "Her name is Bianca. She's the mean girl that every school has."
"So why was she throwing ketchup at you?" Kendall asked.
"Ketchup... and spitballs." I said. Kendall raised his eyebrow.
"Why?" Kendall asked.
"She saw you drop me off on my first day and she didn't like it." I said.
"So this happened because of me?" Kendall asked. I slowly nodded. Kendall looked at me for a minute before he left the room without another word.
