Throughout the whole funeral, Michael was trying to find Fiona- every corner of the house, every room and every floor, he couldn't seem to find her.

He only found her outside, sitting on the porch silently, lighting up a cigarette. Staring at her shoes.

As he made his way towards her, she took notice of him and smiled at him. Her smile though, wasn't like what it used to be, it was more broken.

"Hi Michael." She said, scooting over so he could sit beside her.

"I was trying to find you." Michael said.

"Well, you did." She blew out the smoke away from his face.

"Aren't you gonna go inside? To see your brother?" Michael hoped he wasn't walking on thin ice, he didn't know how else he would have rephrased his words but he didn't know how to.

"To say goodbye? Oh Michael, I had no opportunity to say goodbye, he's gone. Besides, its best not to, I don't think my heart can take it any longer." Fiona said in a joking tone but Michael saw past it.

"I'm sorry for your loss, Fay." Michael said, slowly placing his hand on her lower back. Michael and Fiona locked eyes and they couldn't look away, Fiona saw comfort in his eyes and Michael saw a broken person that needed mending in hers.

"I'm sorry too." She said almost in a whisper, quickly Michael hugged her tight as he breathed in her scent.

After the funeral, Clemenza came rushing in with bad news. "They trashed the whole apartment and started a fire."

Now, Fiona had no place to go back to.

"They didn't know Roberto had a sister, now they're looking for her- Fay they're looking for you." Clemenza said.

Instantly at Clemenza's words, Michael stood up. Fredo suddenly trembled in fear for Fiona, he didn't want her hurt. Sonny as usual, was fuming. While Tom was sighing and rubbing his temples, trying to think of a solution.

However, Fiona was calm. As if she didn't care what could happen to her.

"I suggest Fiona leaves the country, a hideout in Italy would be fitting, where guards'll protect you." Tom said as he stood up and paced the room.

"What? I'm not leaving. I have to help the family." Fiona said in disbelief. Although, Michael was in disbelief of her words- she didn't care about herself.

"Did you not just hear Clemenza's words?" Michael stood in front of her. "They ripped your place to pieces and lit it on fire." He tried to speak to her calmly. "They know you exist now and they're trying to kill you."

To make things better, Sonny tried to pitch in. "It'll only be a few months and once everything is safe, you'll be right back at home with us."

Fiona was in Vito's room saying her goodbyes. "I'd like to say my goodbyes Godfather, I might not see you again. I appreciate everything you have done for Roberto and I, thank you."

At Fiona's words, Vito shook his head. "I'll take care of everything, you'll be back figilia. You'll be back." Fiona wasn't too sure of Vito's words, this was the only time that she has doubted him.

She kissed his forehead and his hand before leaving the room. She had already said her goodbyes to Carmela and Connie. As she made her way downstairs, she kissed and hugged Fredo goodbye.

"They're waiting for you at your jet alright? These are our most trustable men. We'll see you soon." Tom said as he hugged her tightly.

She nodded her head of approval to Tom because the words couldn't come out of her mouth, they were stuck in her throat.

"C'mere where's my hug?" Sonny said as he grabbed her and hugged her tightly. "You'll be fine, you're a ball of fire! We'll see you soon lil' Fay." She chuckled in his chest and let him go, making her way to Michael.

She didn't know how to say goodbye to him, was she supposed to hug him or shake his hand or kiss him? Before she could decide though, it seemed that Michael already made up his mind.

He pulled her in towards him and kissed her passionately on her lips. Sonny had a grin on his face while Fredo looked down to his feet.

"I'll see you soon, alright?" Michael whispered in her ear. She nodded even though she didn't really believe his words.

She didn't believe any of their word, she didn't want to. Because last time, Roberto promised that he'd take her out for dinner but ended up getting killed. She didn't want anymore promises.
