Chapter XVI

White Witch?

"Kira?"

"Yes. The body I'm in right now. Her curiosity led her to me. The woman was a white witch. A beautiful witch. She was kind and gentle,  not the one you're seeing right now. One day, she wondered through a cave where I was sealed. She opened my seal and now here I am" 'Kira' explained while smiling.

"Then who are you? The one inside her right now."

"My name i-" She was cut off by Hotaru and the others who ran to Mikan's side. Ruka though was still staring at the woman in front of him. She was so familiar yet he couldn't tell who she was. It was disturbing him.

Mikan who was concentrating on the witch was surprised to see Hotaru and her brothers here. and Ruka. Natsume was relieved that he at least has a back up if the witch decided to attack them. He kept on watching Kira, thinking that she might do a sneak attack whilst they were having a reunion.

Strangely, Kira was more focused on Ruka. She felt something on her cheeks. She reached for it, It was tears. Why was she crying? Who is this boy?

Suddenly, 'Kira' began to laugh mysteriously. This snapped Mikan back to her enemy. Hotaru prepared her Baka-Gun incase anything happens.

"Well Well, Who do we have here as well? Ruka Nogi?" This brings all the attention to Ruka who jumped at the mention of his name. He gulped and glared at Kira. "Oh Kira, Look at him, He has grown to be a great man." The mysterious thing said to Kira.

"Who? Who are you?" Ruka finally asked the question. He was itching to ask that question since he was spying on them. "I'm.. I'm your.. gr-" "Let's not reveal it first shall we?" The thing said , cutting Kira who was just about to reveal what she was towards Ruka. Ruka on the other hand , was pissed. He was just about to know what she was to him. And the thing just.. interrupted him.

"Let's continue our chat later , Ruka Nogi." Kira said and turned her head to face Mikan. "Mikan Yukihara.. You shall come with me.. To our paradise" The thing said. He silently walked towards Mikan who was currently in shock. She never knew her ancestors had a dark history with a devil.. well , at least not that deep. Natsume shielded her from Kira , lighting a fire in his hand. Kira used her magic and made Natsume fly to the other side of the Kitchen. Hotaru prepared herself for anything , making Mikan her number one priority.

She shots her Baka-Gun at Kira , who instead dodged them all perfectly. No traces of bruises were there. Hotaru tch-ed and grabbed her other weapons and shot her again. Tsubasa came in to help. Youichi also summoned his ghosts to help them stop the devil.  The battle lasted for a while , Mikan though was mad. She was mad at herself. Her alice has no use in situations like this. She can't afford to let her friends get hurt because of her. The brunette looked up and her hazel orbs  are filled with determination. Natsume regained his conciousness and also attacked Kira.

They were all exhausted , their alice were at their limits , except for Hotaru. She kept on using all of her guns , machines , anything that are used to attack. Her final gun broke to pieces as her feet finally gave up from the exhaustion. 

Kira once again used her magic on Hotaru , Hotaru prepared for the impact.. but it never came.

Hotaru opened her eyes , to see brown chestnut hair , in front of her. Shielding her from the attack she was supposed to be hit at. The raven hair quickly holds Mikan tight , She laid her down gently. Natsume noticed this and quickly ran to her side to see Mikan who was hurt quite badly. Hotaru was restraining her tears. Mikan was hurt , because of her. Because she was weak. 

Mikan who noticed her best friends attitude quickly cheer her up. "Hotaru.. It's not your fault! I wanted to be at least useful to you guys. I wanted to fight with you all , but I guess I'm being a burden to you all.. That's why I did it Hotaru..  Don't be sad. Don't blame yourself." she said and smiled her usual smile. This made Hotaru smile her genuine smile. Mikan was always there for her , she should too.

Hotaru stood up and went over to Ruka who was still standing still. He still couldn't accept what was happening. A demon? Love?

"Listen you bunny boy , I will tell you something very very very important. Don't waste this information or else I'll kill you with my very own hands" She threatened. The raven hair pulled the blond boy's collar and whispered in his ear. As he listened , his eyes widened. "Alright that's all , be useful bunny boy" She said and left him alone , in shock at what she just told him.

Ruka quickly ran towards Kira and hugged her. Kira tried to get rid of him but he kept on holding her tight. Kira wanted to attack him , but .. deep inside .. she can't. She didn't want to hurt him. He is too precious to her. 

Unexpectedly , She stopped attacking them. Kira drops to the ground and cries. The gang was.. speechless at what they were witnessing. She just.. gave up.

Guys , this is important. I need you guys to suggest me a name. For the devil.
